Good for you! Putting only two Republicans and five Democrats on that list! [/sarcasm] I say the best is Jeb Bush, but NONE of them would be my preference. I say Bill Frist or Newt Gingrich are good men to run.

Actually, scratch that. Pretend I voted for Howard Dean. I would like for this deranged lunatic to be nominated and run! That would be great! I mean, he's already said that we're evil, stupid, liars, "haven't worked an honest living in [our] lives," and way more! I mean, come on! This guy's gotta run, and he's gotta be nominated!

Well, actually, you should want someone like Howard Dean to be nominated--think of all the votes we'd get!

I don't even think Democrats are stuid enough to nominate her. It would be total political suicide.

Kerry will loose again hopefully. All he done was lie and flip flop. now if a democrat ran for office that didn't lie, and flip flop , then yeah, but not likely.

Actually, it probably wouldn't. She really would, with her new makeover, have a solid chance, and at least 30-some percent of the country would definitely vote for her, according to a recently-released Gallup poll.

Yeah, but that poll was taken without any campaning, and still it's only 30%... If h=Hillary ran, the dirt would come out, and she wouldn't stand a chance. Her facade of moderacy is far too transparent, John Kerry (with his youth facade) was more beleivable.
If the Democrats want to win, they'll nominate Edwards, he's the best chance they have.

Edwards!!! Hah! That which you are saying is SO GOSH DARN FUNNY! Gosh, the Liberal wouldn't do as well as you think!
However Hillary truly is a force that you should not underestimate. She understands politics better than most, and may be successful in convincing the public that she's someone who she's not.

I am not looking foward to 2008. I am not really overly excited about any of the politicians that are currently being thought of as possible runners.

vs.
Never underestimate charisma. Edwards is the last best chance at saving the left from falling into the depths of nothingness. He's got no skeletons in his closet, his approval ratings (in the last election) were sky high. Sadly, middle ground people like Edwards, a lot.

And yet he's in the top 5 for the Senate's most Liberal members. Interesting...(And no, he's not )

Those lists are deceiving. It measures the voting percentage vs. the rest of your party over the cource of one year.
All that it tells us is that John Edwards voted with the majority of his fellow Democrats 75.3% of the time in 2003. When you look at it that way, then compare it to John Kerry's 96.9% he doesn't look bad. I don't like Edwards, but he's got charisma, he's got a clean moral record, he's young, and he's immensely popular.
I hope you're right, I hope Hitlery runs, because then we can look forward to at least 12 straight years with a Republican leader.

He had an opinion, and facts spilled in saying that it wasn't so, so he supported the correct side. Whats wrong about changing your opinion? You wanna talk about flip floping. Read George Bush's campaign speaches as governer and then his speaches as president now THATS flip floping. And from your post it sounds like you're implying that all democrats do is lie and flip flop.

Didn't flip-flop! Oh, do we have to go through this again? My gosh, I'll find EVERYTHING that you need to see his flip-flops. Didn't flip-flop. Funniest thing I've heard all day.

I find it difficult to decide on the flip floping issue. If someone gets more information to make a better informed decission then I think it's better than blindly following a certain belief for the sake of it. But I also disagree that you should change your beliefs to suit others. And depending what side of the argument you are on you view it differently. (General rule) Republican's view Bush as a strong leader and Kerry as a flip flopper. Democrats think Bush is following his believes and faith blindly and that Kerry makes sure his opinions are based on evidence. Both the same facts, but different opinions.

No, no, no. Kerry truly flip-flopped. It was NOT a matter of changing an opinion based on facts--no, just what seemed politically convenient

I don't like any of the choices on either side. I want fresh choices instead of these same old people. If only I could find a popular democrat that was against abortion. *sighs*
