What else would he be so secretly moving? I asked a question what everyone thinks they were?

Some of his wealth maybe? ((Just suggesting something else)). Also how come they could tell there was shipments but not what was in them, or if they knew about them why didn't they stop them?

Not sure what point you were making a reference to, but probably the second one. Why, if these shipments were spotted, weren't they stopped?

Who said they were spotted by people with the means to do anything? That's like saying, "If Saddam were such a tyrant, why didn't the people overthrow him years ago?"

These shipments were spotted BEFORE the war, BEFORE our troops were there, and with Syria's approval, I believe. Satelite survailence detected this.

That's what my educated guess would be. He knew that we were going to go to war against him, and so he shipped them out. Give me something else that he would have replaced his agents for.

^ Well they have not found them. And we have been there for what, 2 years now "using all of our educated people, and all of our advanced satelites" But still nothing. So lets give it a rest until there is sufficient evidence to prove otherwise????

Come to think about it. If Saddam knew we were on him about the WMD's don't you think he would have been a little more discreet abouttransporting them somewhere else, knowing we were watching him.

He was discrete, but we managed to find the footage. And there's no better way than replacing agents. I'm giving the intelligence agencies the benefit of the doubt; that there was something there, and I still believe there was.

Hey, that is your personal Opinion. Afterall, you are a Republican. So naturally, you would feel there is something there. I'm not trying to argue personal beliefs or opinions cause that will lead to no where.

What? I'm a Republican, so I'm going to believe that there is still something there? No, I'm a loyal American who looks at more evidence presented than just a report or two. And btw, President Bush doesn't believe that there's more out there, or at least that's what he's showing, and yet he's a Republican

There's an old saying; "There's a fine line between Patriotism and Nationalism."

How can you really say that though? Looks at all the evidence? the only evidence there is to fall back on is the sattelite imagery, and they dont even show what was being transported.

There is plenty of evidence to support both sides, and both sides seem to choose what they want to see, so I think unless one is capable of at least accepting that their opposing side might be correct, and is incapable of having just a small doubt that they themselves might be wrong, it is really pointless to discuss it.

Like I said before. This war was a huge mistake. If Saddam was as big of a threat as the President made him out to be, I would agree with it. But we lost so many lives, on both ends... for nothing really.

Could we have been wrong? Yes. But do we know that? No. And even if it were to turn out that we were wrong, it would still NOT have been a mistake.

^PSSHHH, maybe in your eyes. But in mine.. we were DEAD WRONG! Obviously he was no threat to us with what the we were told we started the war for. But hey... we are America! Lets invade his country and take him out of power because well... we don't like the man, and neither does daddy.

He WAS a threat to us. That is UNDOUBTABLE. But the extent (as in WMDs or not) is under question, and questions are NOW valid.

I just wish we knew the truth. There's so much conspiracy around Iraq. People are saying it was all to do with oil

I agree with that. Both sides only believe that their information was correct and won't accept others. As you said I believe that there is flaws on both sides. It's why I'm not for or against the war, because there is no way to know the real information there was, being a normal member of the public. What I disagree with though is Sadam being a threat to the US.

^He shot at our planes in the No Fly Zone, violating the cease-fire agreement that HE SIGNED. He called for attacks against the United States, and he's given money to terrorists who did Palistinian bombings against the Israel AND US civilians AND has supported al Quada and other terrorists in other ways. How does that NOT add up to a threat?

One thing is for sure. At one point Saddam DID have LOTS of WMDs. Ask the Kurds.
