Sun Apr 10, 2005 9:19 pm I Like Apple Juice |
|
Apple juice, it's so good to me,
it comes from the fruit of an apple tree.
Apples, apples, they're so tart,
Apple juice, it's close to my heart.
'Twas a dare,

I think apple juice makes me more thirsty than I was before i drank it, but the poem would be cool and creepy in a horror movie when a little girl in a orchard starts singing it... and then something horrible would happen like everyone's hearts got cut out and replaced with apples.
I over think sometimes

Nah, you'd have to do the replacing of hearts, Read the last line, Chris,

Glad to see someone worked it out
I think its sounds better if you replace "they're all without you having fun" with "It's time to kill you"
I haven't heard the actually thing. My friends Ashleigh and Jenny (AKA the Lushee Sisters) keep singing it.
I had a dream I was singing american idiot in the school talent show wearing only little american flags on my top half. It was incredibly disturbing on many many levels....
Apple juice is nice though, whether or not creepy little girls are singing about it.

So wierd! So many times a day I drink apple juice and so many times a day I'm convinced that it's addictive! A very good poem, not just describing your feelings towards apple juice, but so many others as well!
LoL - great stuff!

...It's awful.
The rhythm is all off, especially on lines 2 and 4. Rhyme scheme is very basic (couplets? Come on...) , word choice is very crude and basic, not to mention there was no use of alliteration, besides the countinuos use of the word and variations of "apple". No imagry, symbolism, not even a single metaphor or simile.
No. I don't think you'll even come close to being the Poetry Idol.
