PostMon Oct 25, 2004 1:39 pm    {THE QUEEN} a poem

I havent written a poem since I was a teenager so dont laugh just tell me what you think.

THE QUEEN

Mourning in the morning

Claws dig into your face

That pain in your chest

Its not just a jest

Its the end of the human race

Your death rattle

Her majestys battle

Screams of rage-for air

She lives for pain

Your children shes slain

Even her lifes blood burns

Her love is fear

Whispered in your ear

She has taken your turns

Your anguish she learns

Is life for her kind

She draws you

Wants you needs you

Your dreams she haunts

Your blood she flaunts

Mourning in the morning

Claws dig into your face

That pain in your chest

Its not just a jest

Her majestys fallen from grace

I hope you enjoy it. Some people at the Helix BBS forum asked if they could set it to music.

I don't understand Poetry. when it rhymes good i enjoy reading it, but i never seem too find the message or morales.

I don't find this one rhyme well enough. is it: 1221?

Not all poems are supposed to rhyme. Poe only rhymed half of the time.
