Soldiers Refuse to Follow Orders

This is proof that Iraq is a complete mess, our own soldiers will not even follow orders any more.

If you join the military- you have to follow orders. If you don't- you shouldn't be in the military.

I respect their decision. However, the rules must be held up, and I think that whatever the normal disiplinary action is for this type of thing needs to occur.

they should be disciplined when you join the military you agree to follow orders and do as you are told not refuse and it personally makes me sick if i wish i was there i would have done the mission by myself if i had to

Em what would you have said if they'd followed out the orders and they had been attacked and killed? I suppose that would have been ok. Say if one of them had been your dad, and after he was killed you found out they had information that said it was really dangerous. Would you have minded?

Also as for the people who say they would have gone and done their duty (this is kinda going back to what Defiant said) - you haven't been in a situation like that and so can't say what you would do. Some of these soldiers may have seen their friends being killed, and having them dying in their hands. And you expect them to just walk in there and do the task when they believe it has a high risk factor?
