I think that just about everyone hear has evidence to the contrary about both this or that. Each side has evidence supporting both his or her side. Something to be remembered though is that sources, even those that on the outside appear credible, not always are. It has also become exceedingly apparent that this site is populated by people who strongly oppose the left wing and those who strongly support it. To be honest I find it very refreshing and invigorating. I enjoy reading both sides of the issues as well as adding my own two cents of course.

Okay, then explain this.
WHY, WHEN I WATCH FOX NEWS, DO TROOPS THAT COME ON THE NEWS AND MILITARY ANALYSTS, ETC, SAY THAT THE MEDIA ISN'T REPORTING THE GOOD STUFF? HUH? I'm sorry, but I find it VERY hard to believe that you served in Iraq. Unfortunately I may not know the truth about that, and if you DID, then I'm sorry for saying what I did.
And you, my dear friend, are the one spilling PROPAGANDA.

but the news media here in the US barely ever reports the positive stuff that has happened in Iraq...

I also wanted to point out the news agency CNN.I dont know if u know this...but CNN is founded by the US military.I dont know about other news agency but Im sure some others are.Now if these news agencies are founded by the US military and get there propaganda from the US military but yet they are reporting bad things about there own people. Why would they do that to there own people especially if the Army funds them?Something there what u sayed doesnt add up....
|
WHAT? CNN is a PRIVATE organization? Where did you get this? CNN has NOT shown ANYTHING good in Iraq from what I've seen, and yet GOOD THINGS, MANY GOOD THINGS, are going on in Iraq. The Military does NOT fund CNN.
And could you PLEASE give some sources, and unless you have sources, don't call everything contrary to your beliefs "Propaganda." Come on. Wise up.

FOX NEWS is fair and balanced (a TAD on the Republican side, but still gives it's news EQUALLY to BOTH sides) and yet Fox has shown good things in Iraq (a LOT more than all the other news networks), such as jobs being created and businesses being opened, ect. And the incidents in Iraq are NOT that of uprisings. They are of small SECTS of powerful people attacking freedom.
And look at the facts displayed for YEARS. Saddam killed all those Kurds in Iraq, and President Bush has NOT SPUN IT FOR HIS OWN BENEFIT! Please give me sources, SOURCE PLEASE!

most media stations practice one main thing. Selective Information. By informing the public of certain things, but leaving other things out, you can sway the minds of thousands of people.

both sides have been strong. but, i was there with 3 ID during the war. i saw the iraqi people celebrate when we ousted saddam. there has been evidence of wmd's but news and official reports don't show them. by the way cnn was started and is run by ted turner. a devout liberal.

i supported the war then and in light of the fact that i may be going back soon i still support it more than ever. if we leave now the terrorist would take over and we would have to go back and fight another full scale war. but who knows what catastrofic event they would cause before we made it back.

First off, thank you for your service.
Second, I agree with you about how the terrorists will take over.
Third, you make a great point with the mass graves sentence...I don't think that I want to see them, though.
Fourth, please combine, if you may, your short responses in the future (you can click EDIT (in my opinion if it's not too long) to add on your ideas).
Thanks again for your service, and for telling the TRUTH. Or is it "Propaganda?" Let's ask Nero about that...
