I agreed with your statement about future upgraded Voyager vs regular Defiant twice already so continuing to argue that is a moot point.
I just fail to see how the version of Voyager that appeared for the last 20mins of a 7 season run is admissible.
Besides that fact, why would these ships be battling at all.
I guess it comes down to when someone is posting a thread like this we need my specifics about a "possible" or not possible but fun to debate scenario but with more specifics.

You do realize this sounded ridiculous. Especially after you attract attention about what belongs and what doesn't to a certain thread. This thread compares ships, made of bulkheads, circuits, engines, whatnot. If you wish to talk about serving time, then start a thread with that title.

Exactly, no surrender but debating with someone that fails to see any point of view but their own is not a debate but simply a waste of time. I have conceded on certain point and made other valid ones in there place but all you continue to do is state that actual relevant points don't matter and then you restate the same tired old points you put into every post.

I re-state them because no one can defeat them. ANd re-stating at me happens quite seldom, usually only when I tell it to some other guy from out of the original debate, or because the debating partner seemed not to take it into consideration. There are certain rules a constructive debate follows. Plus I usually try to answer all valid arguments, what I don't answer I consider weak arguments, quite see-through, unworthy of the debate. But if you consider them valid, please feel free to remind me of them and I will counter them accordingly.

I miss our tag team debates against Janeway and all that she stood for.

It's the only way VOY fanboys can win this debate. A Defiant-class fighting an Intrepid-class in a battle would easily win.
So to counter, they use the VOY that has future technology.
Although, I did ask earlier what battle would be fought exactly. Science? Warfare? Best crew? etc.

And your claim that it is somehow "unfair" to keep that future technology in mind is the only way DS9 fanboys can win this debate. Only VOY fanboys are not as narrow-minded as to keep on repeating "ooooh, I know my ship would win otherwise, I know my ship would win otherwise!" They just state the facts: this one wins in this situation, that one in the other. We leave the whining to you. Fanboy

Wrong. We're debating if a Defiant-class can beat an Intrepid-class or vice-versa. The topic does not say VOY from Endgame vs. Defiant-class now does it? Thus, we're not being "narrow-minded" or whatever nonsense. We're debating the topic at hand.

Actually we're debating if a defiant class could defeat voyager from no specified time period throughout the show. I commented based on the assumption that we would use the version of voyager that appeared most often through the series. Where milan seems to think it should be the one from the last five minutes. Which to me makes no sense, as we have no knowledge of the technology we would simply make up the specifications, seeing as there are no canon ones. Either way he continues to call me a DS9 fanboy which I am not. In actual fact I just like to argue . Especially against someone I know won't budge no matter how valid the oposing position may be and how weak their platform becomes. My foresight leads me to believe milan will say something along the lines of his platform is not crumbling, in actual fact it is ours that is weak, and that we have said nothing to disprove his arguments. When clearly a valid argument has been made he just fails to see it.

Wrong. We're debating Voyager versus Defiant. There's no classes and restrictions in the title of the thread, my desperate fanboy.

The topic says "Defiant vs. Voyager..which would win". Wrong. I didn't say there was a restriction. Go ahead and bring up future-VOY. The point is, it doesn't really correlate to the topic at hand.
