A strange ancient skull recently uncovered adds to mounting evidence that humans and Neanderthals interbred and suggests that humans evolved considerably after settling the European continent some 40,000 years ago.

				| Such an article on foxnews.com?
While it remains to be quite interesting, I already know how things came to be, regardless of what skull they found buried somewhere.

				| I read in New Scientist that we acted genocidely (if that's a word) towards the neanderthals and helped exterminate them as an inferior race.

Why is it amazing that it's on Fox? I don't see it.

It is interesting when there's even more evidence of evolution like this, and hard-core evidence at that.

				| Evidence like this has been around for years. The problem is, there are archaeologists and other scientists around who still have beliefs that neanderthal man isn't a part of the Homo genus. They equate them to large lemurs, define them as slack jawed, hairy ape men or label them completely inferior in every way.
