What the hell? That's going to far. Way to far, so now one cannot dispay something on their own house? *sighs*

I saw the word "subdivision" and Colorado immediately clicked in my mind, lol.
Seriously, I agree. This is going too far.

Christmas sucks now. It was great when I was a kid.
When I was a kid, Athiests did not complain about how a plastic Santa Clause in front of other people's lawns was a symbol of Christian imperialism.
Now, in this case, it's more of a political issue rather then a religious one, but still. I can kind of understand why they're mad since they're kids are in Iraq, but still. The person said the wreath is not about the war. They didn't even give the person the benefit of the doubt.
Unless what people display is grossly offensive, why won't people shut the hell up? She put up a Christmas wreath for goodness sakes.

Yeah, really. How the hell is that offensive? It's not like this is the first year that "peace on earth" has been said in relation to Christmas. Man....

Hell, ask anyone fighting the war if they want peace on Earth. Of course they do!

True. Now ask anyone fighting the war - a war to protect our freedoms - if they want someone to be told that they can't put up a freakin' Christmas wreath! Of course they don't! Is that what they're fighting for - fining someone for putting up a gosh darn wreath? I think not!

Right, we get that, the point is, this whole argument of Anti war or what ever is offensive in it self, because people have siad peace on earth during the holidays for years.

I'm an Atheist and I have Santa's all over my house,
Anyways, this is just plain stupidity. It's a wreath. It's not even a sign, it's just a decorative piece on a door. People are going crazy these days and need to calm down. I think some people are just looking to create controversy to get into the news...

This is all pretty disturbing. It sounds like if you disagree with him, you get fired. I don't get how it can be "Satanic"

Nice, I have Santa over here to! You might be right about getting on the news thing, that kinda makes sense. It's pretty stupid though, calling it a problem.

As for that guy...he should be arrested. Didn't he unlawfully fire those people?

During Halloween there was a family that had to take down they're decorations b/c they were scarey. SHEESH! Hell, even if these people WERE displaying something anti-war or demonic... it's their right... Crosses are allowed, flags are allowed, pumpkins are allowed... what's next? "Sorry... but your daffodils offend me. You see, they're from Holland... and I think Holland is anti-American b/c of..." whatever. You get the point, yes?

Actually, 90% of America celebrates Christmas, and 80% is Christian (this according to stats). A large portion of athiests celebrate Christmas. It's really just a minor sect of that group - as well as people of faith as well - that are gung-ho secularist and trying to push out the holiday and so forth. Yet that minority is a powerful one.

Many Jews celebrate it these days as well. It's really a holiday for everyone these days. Granted, I'm not saying it's not a Christian holiday anymore...

Oh, no, you're right. It's a Christian holiday, but it's celebrated clearly by a whole host of people. That's what makes the issues and debate surrounding it so ridiculous.

I know. I wasn't saying that Athiests are to blame for anything. I know that everyone always complains about Christmas because they don't like the othe guy's stuff on their lawn. My point is that this needs to end. Why is Christmas such an argumentative holiday now?
In this topic, it's clearly ridiculous what these people are doing. After the person said it's not anti-war, they still want the wreath down?

Yeah, if your offended, you can call it something else, fine. However, NO ONE has any right to tell ME what I can call the holiday, and what I can and can not hang on my door for the holidays.
