Was wondering if someone could endulge me as to what exactly happened in that one episode of ENT where Archer and his crew were all evil and stole a newer Enterprise from some docking station while wearing TOS outfits. Was that supposed to have been them in a parallel universe kind of like one of those episodes from DS9 where the station was still under Cardassian control and Oto was the slave master and Sisqo was some renegade jock ?

Yeah I think the main reason that ENT episode threw me off was because they changed from a more futuristic ENT set to a less futuristic TOS set, and it seemed like the "more advanced" ship they captured was really much much older. At first that confused me, but later I did realize that TOS took place much much much later than ENT. Sorry I'm fairly new to the Trek series, I'm still yet to watch TOS and VOY, so...I'm a little behind

The name of the vessel they stole, is actually the USS Defiant NCC-1764, a sister ship of the Enterprise (1701)

Because, in that universe, Humans are known as Terrans, and the Empire was ran by them

Oh ok now I think I remember that insignia, when Archer was in the parallel universe their uniforms all of a sudden had that "Earth With A Sword" emblem on them and the attire resembled that of a military style...ok. Confusing but interesting.

In the mirror universe Humanity is a lot more Militaristic, opportunistic, Violent and Xenophobic than in the Original Universe towards other as well towards themselves. The rest of the species are the same as in the original universe.

It's weird cause from what I remember from the TOS episode, they didn't seem to mind Vulcans...
I guess they learned tolerance or something by that point...

I should imagine the Vulcs had gone from a conquered race to a willing partisan of the Empire. I think in the MU it would be good to see evil characters being nice, e.g a friendly Gul Dukat or something. I wrote a fanfic featuring Captain Pike in the miu
