Snakes on a Plane!!!!!!!!

Holy Hell! I'll say it again.... this movie was awesome like Rocky Horror Picture Show, in that it was awful and at least at the sneak preview, everyone was there to make fun of it. I was lucky enough to be of the selected few (thousand) to see it the night before it came out..... which was cooler than opening night because everyone there Thursday night was in on the joke.

Rules when you go see it, per dictum rules of cult classics.....

- Scream and cheer the first time Samuel L shows his pretty face
- Scream and cheer every time Samuel L drops the F-bomb
- Every time they say "One Twenty-One" you must yell "Snakes!"
- Cheer as loudly and wildly as you can when Samuel L finally gets to "Get these mother *beep* snakes off my mother *beep* plane" It's better than you could ever imagine. Aw heck, go ahead and just say it with him.
- Don't be afraid to sing along to the song during the credits
- When a snake blows up, throw popcorn
- Laugh every time a snake bites an awful place. It makes it hurt less.

Anyway, I know you dweebs think you're too intellectual to go ahead and open your peepers to the coolness of Snakes, but when you get a chance to share the wealth that's on the big screens now, I recommend you go ahead and do it. There won't be another chance to tell your kids that you were there when a legend began.

I'm going to get it on DVD but I'm not going to scream and follow those ..... rules mainly because I don't want to look like a freak at home.

That's why you only do it at theaters.... with other cult people. I don't think I've ever watched Rocky Horror at home and done all the rule stuff. Rules are for being with a lot of people because it's more fun. how embarassing to sit there with everyone and not say anything during lame movies.

It was decent untill it reached Dawn on the movie, then it became weird. I think Keenan Thompsons char was funny, SLJ simply owns. It was more funny, then scary. The CG was bad, though. Considaring they've done better jobs with CG in cheaper movies, makes you wonder what the hell happened.
