I don't give a damn what a woman does to her own body. But abortion affects the baby's body, without giving the baby any sort of choice. Abortion is NOT about the worthless deadbeat mother who was irresponsible and got herself knocked up, it's about the innocent child who didn't ask to be created, only to die.
The woman already made her choices, it's not up to her anymore. |
I agree WHOLEHEAREDLY with Lightning Boy. Debate it here.

It is the choice of the woman. I do not consider the fetus alive until it is in the third trimester. Before that, it is the choice of the woman.

OK then, hypothetical situation:
A doctor is performing a surgery on a pregnant woman (1st trimester) who wants to have the baby. He irresponsibly makes some sort of incompetant mistake, causing the baby to die. Should he be charged with manslaughter?
Legally, he can be. According to the law how it is, that baby is alive; in that sence. Why isn't it alive in your definition?
It all comes down to this:
Does that baby have a soul?
If you say yes, you see it as murder. If you say no, you don't.
Either way, end result, there's a human being who never got to choose.

You raise a great point. I COMPLETELY agree with that.

Women do not have the right to take another life. Not even if rape cases. Nor life or death except if baby do not have no brain then the doctors could simply take the baby. But other than that, no woman has a right to take a life. Adoptions are always available. Heck give them to me. I love kids.

It's always wierd that men hardly are considered in matters like this. I know, men can't have children but it's their child too!
A baby is half from the mother and half from the father. So in theory, bot parents should have equal rights (and equal obligations) about what happens to the child. I know that in some cases this wouls be very difficult to put into action but that's how it should be.
So I disagree that it's only the mother's choice.

I know I'll get hell for this but I think mothers have the right to have abortions its their body no one elses I know that if me and josi had a baby and I didn't want it nor did she, she should have the right to have a abortion. In simple words I think its a persons right to have a abortion.

So you saying its ok to murder an innocent baby? Do I need to explain the procedure over again well charlie will, but seems not to work. But yeah let women keep on killing innocent babies, they have to meet their maker one day and they will be judge unless they repent of their sin.
As I said, no woman has a right to kill. If the baby has no brain fine, cause baby already dead. But to kill cause they dont want the baby and common sense would say give baby up cause there are plenty of familes that want a baby desperately that can not have a child.

I, reluctantly, agree with Jeff. But for the republicans, here is a point:
What is the baby born to the mother, is going to die anyways? I mean, what if she cant afford food or medicine? What if she has no possible way of having the baby, period? Then the baby is to die one way or the other. Circumstances can be right, to make abortion the best option.
And I dont care about whether or not it has a soul. That doesnt matter.

Imo there is no innocent thing in this world. What I don't see is that people say its murder. Theres people on Death Row that is going to die but no one ever fights for them.

I am going to say something that I may get banned for but I am going to say it anyway.
Everyone has an opinions, opinions are like buttholes but most of them stink. Get mad, hate me do whatever. THere are assistance for the woman who can not afford medicine and medical care. Ever heard of medicaid and there are other resourse if they open their eyes.
No, woman do not have the right to kill.

^ Yep.
I have medicare. IT SUCKS. We have to pay a copay for everything, they always cut off our money, and welfare is worthless. We get like $200 a month for 4 people to eat off of.

IT'S NOT THE WOMAN'S BODY THAT SHE'S MAKING A CHOICE ABOUT. Therefore: she can't do with it as she pleases.

It's no use getting upset over this. Everyone has an opinion and each opinion as worth as much as the other.
It's clear that kmma thinks that abortion is totally out of the question no matter what and that's fine. Jeff and Defiant think that it should be allowed and that too is fine.
I think it all comes down to how you see abortion. Is is like killing a human being. If so, then abortion is the wrong thing to do. If not, then it should be allowed under certain very specific and well thought out cases.
Again, it's no use to get upset.

It's the Mom's fault, it's her problem. If she can't afford it, it needs to go up for adoption. Murder isn't just, ending an innocent human life should NEVER be done intentionally.
As far as Welfare and Medicare, they should be cut off for everyone who's not elderly or injured. It's not the government's place to spend my money on someone else.

Than the child should be taken from her, and put up for adoption.

Imagine a cop coming to suck your limbs off cause you did something wrong limbs after limbs. Til all is gone. Do you know the procedure of abortions?
THey take this tube which sucks each part of the baby. Then afterwards the last the head. So imagine you are a living being and someone came and sucked you out.

The baby is not alive. It feels no pain. It doesnt know whats going on. There is nothing wrong with aborting it, if the need is there.

Its been scientifically proven.
Plus, dont you hear those stories of mothers not knowing what to do, so they put their babies in dumpsters or drowning them on birth?
