I have a confession to make...
I am a Stone Age Man when it comes to most modern technology-I mean, I haven't ever sent a text on my mobile.
It takes me about half a day to tune a TV in.
And I am completely ignorant about computers, computer terminology and the Internet. I wouldn't know the first thing to do to create a website.
What has this to do with Paypal?
Well, I am always skeptical when it comes to anything online. So, I would like to know if Paypal is secure? The site says it is secure but does anyone know of any problems that have ever arisen or any major fraud that has took place? Before I register a Paypal account, I wish to know that it is worth it and secure.
Thank you in advance.

hey man the only thing thats secure online is the Militaries Sipernet thats it your computer could have already been hacked a few times with you knowing it. but there are ways to do the secure thing. They arent 100% fool proof but they work for the most part. As for paypal im sure if they have a secure transmission then its over 90% safe.

Allow me to re-assure your faith in the Internet:
Paypal is as secure as having your money in the bank. As long as you dont let your password or account number out, you are fine. There is no way you can be forced into giving it out, unless you do something stupid, or get tricked. Therefore, BE EXTREMELY PARANOID. Only deal with people that have good records, or people that sell alot of stuff. Remember, you never have to give anyone your information, you just send the money over. There is no knowing the account or anything.
Stay paranoid, and youll be fine!

Yes, Paypal uses most likely a very high encryption and the way you can tell is that if you see a lock in Internet Explorer down at the bottom or some image resembling protection in a different browser, then that is one way. Also, the other easier more obvious way is if the address in the browser has the following: https:// instead of: http://, then it is secure, do not send over important information that someone could steal unless you see one of those things.
