Most of her crew huh...? The crew compliment were approximately 150 people...I'm sure she returned home with no less than 135...I mean Picard lost 18 people when Q allowed them to meet the Borg...That's already surpassed Janeway's number by 3.

The thing is Picard was cool so hes allowed that body count.

^ No, I belive Janway's number was around 175. then a bunch died in care taker, 2 came on, one left, one was born, then seven came on, then the four children, 3 left... so yeah... the numbers fluctuated

If Tuvok became the captain of Voyager, the crew might not get home as he is too logical and too careful.

He'd prolly not have tried to rescue seven of nine in dark frontier(?)..
which would lead to many bad things :O

Yes many bad things would happen if Tuvok was to become the captain like:

-Seven of Nine might not have joined Voyager if Janeway wasn't the captain. (Scorpion)
-Voyager would lose Seven of Nine. (Dark Frontier)
-Janeway and Chakotay would be stranded on a planet. (Resolutions)
-Voyager's crew could have died if Janeway wasn't the captain. (Scientific Method)
-Without Janeway, there would not be a future Janeway to give the "present" Janeway tegnology from the future and Voyager might have to stay in the Delta Quadrant longer or forever. (Endgame)
-Without Janeway, Tuvok and Tom Paris might have died. (Worst Case Scenario)
-If Tuvok was the captain, Harry and the rest of the people might have been stuck in the stressful dream. (The Thaw)
-Without Janeway, Voyager would not be stuck in the Delta Quadrant and with that, no Star Trek Voyager Series.

-I'll add more soon.

^Yeah. Tuvok may be very logical and everything, but Janeway's gut instinct is a definate plus.

I don't belive her number was ever quite that high...Granted she lost some members when they were swept into the Delta Quadrant, but she also gained quite a good number of people from the Maquis.

Also, Janeway told Chakotay in "Shattered," that she STARTED out with a crew of 153 people...So, I don't think she came that close to 175 people. B/c in the episode "The 37's" I think Chakotay said they had 152 men and women aboard. That's almost guarenteed to include everyone of the crew...Maquis, Doctor, Naomi, Kes and Neelix, and Janeway's original crew.

Well I've just been watching Worst Case Scenario and in that and the previous episode the crew number has been stated as 148. Now I think that the Maquis pretty much evened out anyone that was lost in Caretaker and they gained Neelix and Kes but several crewmembers have died (ah those poor nameless ensigns...) so I don't think that the original number could have greatly exceeded 150 by any means... so 153 sounds accurate... that was just my two cents!

Also, I don't think that Tuvok would have gotten them home because aside from Voyager Fanatic's good reasons, there have been lots of times when Janeway has made small decisions that Tuvok believed to be, and probably were, illogical but they actually had a positive outcome in the end. That's Janeway's saving grace; she is a bit of a regulations freak sometimes but she has humanity and gut instinct (which Tuvok told Neelix in Rise that Vulcans do not posess)... I think that you need instinct aswell as training, otherwise why not just programme a robot to Captain a ship?

lol well I've already turned the Doctor into Sean Connery in another thread so this could lead to Voyager being captained by James Bond! Now that gives me ideas...
