The tie fighters keep getting brought up but you have to keep in mind that they dont have shields themselves let alone air re-breathers (why do you think the fighters wear breath helmets) so in essence tie fighters are very weak ships and really not a problem voyager could destroy them with a spread from her phasers and then use chakotay's attack plan and bam down goes the star destroyer, or better yet since voyager is small enough the land voyager inside and take it over and use the SD advance engines to get themselves home in two hours......how do you like that

Very easy, Tricobalt Devices, Photon Torpedos, Phasers vs. Ion Cannons, Turbolasers and Proton Torpedos. Plus the fact that Voyager can outmanouvre the laser cannons easly...Voyager wins asleep

You sure? Try playing XWA, you're in a small one man fighter and see how hard it is to avoid those cannons And those fighters are SO much smaller than Voyager. Even in the A-wing it's pretty hard. I'd still side with the Star Destroyer.

Lasers even turbo lasers do almost nothing to federation sheilds. the lasers wouldn't be a threat. After a few days of attacking voyager maybe. but nah.

Now where the hell'd you hear that? Besides your friend I mean. It's not like we've ever actually SEEN them go head to head. You might trust your friend, but his word isn't good enough for me.

You see it in TNG A ship group of ships which have lasers for primary weapons threaten the enterprise and picard mentions that they do hardly anything to their shields and picard hardly raised the shields at all and they were still no threat

What makes you think they're the same kind of lasers? I've never watched TNG, which episode is that?

Yeah. The lasers have been established as different as I recall. Besides the Ion cannons would tear right through their shields in ONE shot. Then the lasers, proton missles, and kamikaze TIE fighters WILL be a threat.

What universe will the battle take place in? The Star Wars or Star Trek universe? I think the star destroyer would win in the SW universe, and I hate to say it but Voyager would probally win if the battle was in the ST universe. Lasers are just no match for shields in the ST universe.

Also because i forgot about the tie fighters.

Whilst at warp en route to the stardestroyer just before the battle. Voyager equips all of it's shuttles with the Delta Flyers Refractive shielding. The as voyager drops out of warp the shuttles activate the refractive shielding and then launch its 2 Type 9 shuttles, 1 Type 8 and the delta flyer to help pick off the tie fighters that are on voyagers tail. So as voyager is taking on the stardestroyer and tie fighters are chasing after it, voyagers shuttles which can't be seen or picked up on sensors are behind the tie fighters picking them off by firing there phasers and the delta flyer firing it's borg enhanced weapons. This will leave the tie fighters confused not knowing whats destroying them.

your so informative! I love it.

I agree with Chakotay1988. An Stardestroyer can never defeat the Voyager. Voyager is to fast in warp, and a Stardestroyer doesn`t even have warp.

Dosn't Impulse-engines run down a hyperdrive?

No it has Hyperdrive, which is a lot faster. How will warp help it win in a fight?

Hell no. Hyperdrive is ten times faster than Warp. Ships in SW can travel around the entire galaxy in weeks. While VOY was stuck in the Delta Quadrant for 75 years....

Back on topic...

Star Destroyer would crush VOY. Can anyone offer proof on how it could beat it?

No I say it because im informed. If I like SW better than why did I admit that a Q could beat a Jedi? Obviously im not like you. Im not biased. I admit that a Soverign can beat a Defiant. Its FACTS.

They didn't cause it to "self-destruct". It rammed into the Bridge. IF a ship rammed into the bridge of VOY and killed the Senior Staff, then VOY would be dead in space too.

Voyager would stay out of range of the little turrets so all the star destroyer has is the super laser... the super laser takes a while to aim and could not hit a moving ship, especially voyager. Voyager would just beam a photon torpedo in or fire torpedoes...
