uh-uhhhhh... we are talking about a tadpole here.. aren't we? How can a tadpole thingy move on it's own? It dosn't even have a brain yet... lungs or anything. Maybe once it gets into an older stage of it... but not when it is like 1 or 2 months.

It's life. Who cares how basic the level? It's alive, but we feel we can kill it because it'll be an inconvenience. Lovely of us, really.

I guess I should get on my hands and knees and pray everytime I step on a snail walking on sidewalks... Or, when I freak out cause there is a spider in the shower with me and I drown it! (I do feel bad about the snails btw!)

^That's entirely different. I'm not one who believes that humans are part of the animal species, so.....

A snail isn't going to maybe someday change the world. But who knows what the murdered child could have done.

What don't you understand the sanctity of humanity?

A spider is a spider, a snail is a snail. Nothing more. Whereas a human is the foundation of the practical universe as we know it.

I'd honestly rather see a human get hit by a car than a dog or deer. I didn't mean for you to take me so serious about the snail thing. Lighten up dude.

ok well... deer probably not. But It kills me to see a poor dead dog. And besides... ppl shouldn't be so stupid to get in front of cars anyway! I mean yea it is sad, and terrible... but I somehow feel worse when I know it is a dog that got hit rather than a human.

That's not a good thing! That's terrible! My God, how can you say that. You sister shouldn't have gotten herself pregnant. And who had to pay for her idiocy? The baby she recklessly brought into the world.

Kids having sex, not good...

Education is the key to a good society, something we lack. You know that the New York public school's required health cirriculum does not include Abstinence as a form of birth control?

I agree, she should not have been having sex! I don't think that is right either. But what are you going to do to stop it? Chain up ur kids like slaves? Not let them go out with their friends? It isn't just my sister, it is a lot of teenagers. I gave her $2,000 to help... her insurance covered most, and my mom helped with the rest... to answer your question.

No. You tell them NO or they will get punished!

She only encouraged it, too, you know

No, I did not encourage her, that was very rude, and made me pretty angry. You love to go and make all of these personal attacks, and It is getting a little annoying.. If you don't like my way of thinking... take your bible thumping self away from my comments or simply don't read them. You are not obeying theresa's rules by making attacks at me, after you said you understood them. so CHILL out dude, And no i did not encourage her. She is 16 years old... I feel that every 16 year old girl SHOULD be on birth control! I honestly do, so i arranged for her to be on it because I knew she was sexually active. I did not say.. Hey erica.. ur on b/c now, you can have sex now! No, I told her I was not happy at all, but I wanted to make sure she was protected if she were to have it again. As if this is any of your damn business anyway.

Actually, you let her continue to have sex, so therefore you DID ENCOURAGE her.

That rule generally only works to a degree. Respect does not surpass the sanctity of human life.

Deer are vermin. Well, the word to describe the damage humans do has yet to be found out...

You should get a grip on reality, dude.

Yes, Deer are vermin. 1.8 Billion dollars of damage to motor vehicles in New York state LAST YEAR alone; that, along with the billions of dollars in agricultural damage they do. This is a textbook example of vermin. What makes a deer any better than a rat? Is it just that they're pretty to look at? Is it the fact that they're bigger than most animals, like rats? Most people would consider a rat vermin, they carry disease, they cause monitary damage, and they infest our areas. Deer do the exact same things! They are a liability, and since hunting numbers have gone down, deer related injury and cost has gone up. Ask any corn farmer what they think of Deer.

As for "human damage". I see none. We made the world livable. If you want to be natural and live out in the elements, then fine. But as far as I can see, humans have made the world MUCH more livable than it EVER was before us. I like the comfortable areas we've created, I like our cities; I happen to think archetecture is a thing of beauty. Man made all of the world what awesome place it is, we've stopped the domination of man by nature. Don't like it? Try Amish, i'd buy a matress from you.

I think we're going a bit off-topic here...

And I'm sorry to say that you are so proud of what humans did to Earth and its animals (including mankind itself), that I won't debate this with you any further. What you've just said is ridiculous. I have no other way to put it, sorry.

So, back on topic?

Some, like Theresa, don't consider mankind an animal, though
And yes, agreed. Back on topic.

So your argument is to simply say "You're ridiculous" then 'get bafck on topic'.

A shadow cries out piercing the darkness that is void, a mind, a consciousness, such are the ways that are birth... from nothing there can be no life; how then can it be that two cells become a fetus yet life not be there?
For if life is not already there then it can not come, for there is no longer outside influence... How then is it that the fetus is expected to become life if not at conception? My thoughts find themselves back to a young lady of whose acquaintance I have been honored with... Young miss Hannah amongst my dearest of friends... Was born deathly premature, her time had not yet come to be born... Yet still she had life in her veins... Was she not alive? Did she not have the same rights that you did? Why is it that the time of three months determines the value of ones person? Why is her life any less than that of one whose body simply grew longer? Whomever dares to question her life or her right to live... Shall have my eternal hatred, for there is no redemption for those who challenge her...
