Judy Garland's famed pair of ruby slippers, which she wore in "The Wizzard of Oz," are missing.
Will they follow the yellow brick road home yet again?
Considered to be the most famous shoes in movie history, the ruby slippers were stolen from a Minnesota museum.
They are insured for $1 million and are one of four pairs Garland wore during the film.
It was part of a display at the Judy Garland museum in Grand Rapids, Garland's native city, where a thief broke into the display case.
Police chief Leigh Serfling says he's relying on the community, as there's not a lot of evidence.
Michael Shaw, a collector from Los Angeles, had loaned the slippers to the museum temporarily.
"It's the worst nightmare for me," said Shaw. "The theft is not only a crime against me, but against children." |

How awful!!!!!!! This is such a nightmare....I can't believe someone would do that...but then again the world is full of such evil-minded people....what a pity...
