I like it because it has a lot of new species and wierd anomalies compared to DS9.

TNG is probably one of the starters for the other series, it introduced many things. New ship Phaser banks, Different designs, old favs, new loves (is totally devoted to Deanna Troi), and the Borg of course.

It is great fun to watch it when you are half asleep. Great dreams.

I always was able to understand things easier than onTOS. Even though I watched TOS, it was hard to actually understand what was going on. On TNG it was more realistic to me.

I like TNG because it's the first Star Trek series I ever started watching and it grew on me. In my opinion it has the best crew of any Star Trek series that is currently viewing.

I have the disadvantage of not having digital television so I don't see it very often. I was very pleased, however, to see the BBC2 is now airing it again! Started 2 weeks ago with the first ever episode, although it was not on last week because of the snooker championship. Looking forward to this Wednesday for part two!

Hmm...this is in my Delta Quadrant book, and I definitely think it is true! The "soap opera characters!!!" Also, the fact that they generally always have starbases near...that's pretty cool, instead of like on Voyager, where no one was ever around to help them. I think, I also like the changing of the more minor crew (though it took a bit to get used to).

TNG was a pretty good show and it had its moments. I'm also a big fan of Patrick Stewart's. But sometimes . . . sigh! Sometimes, the show was also hard to bear. It could either be too dull or even worse, too self-righteous. And I hated the way it put humanity on a pedastal.

I'm partial to the Next Generation because I grew up with it . I can remember watching "A Fistful Of Datas" the first time it came out . I was really young when it started , but my dad liked it , so we watched it!

Since I've started watching TNG on TNN, it's kind of growing on me. I still can't stand Picard, though.

Picard was awesome for a captain's role. Archer isn't a bad captain either!

I just wish Picard had stopped getting on his soapbox about the joys of humanity. It was beginning to sound like propaganda, especially when Q was around.

I like Worf, Tasha, Crusher, Wes on two or three eps. And alot of the storylines were great, very well written.

I am the TNG fan of the family, but I do have to agree with T. There were too many times that Picard had to stand in the middle of a room, puff out his little chest, and make some profound speech! I think anything in excess, makes for a bad series.

Well yeah, Picard was so too much of a negotiator.
