Has anyone here downloaded Google's new instant messaging software, "Google Talk"? I have downloaded it on the other computer, but I can't on this one because it doesn't support this version of Windows. It seems pretty cool, I don't really know of anyone that has it though. If yall have tried it, what are your thoughts on it?

Basically it is the same thing as AIM, YIM!, and MSN Messenger. Just a different company with its own software pretty much.

I already told u this, but for the sake of telling everyone else, i'll say it again. I already have 3 messangers: msnm, aim, yim. For the moment i don't see need for another.

It's pretty cool. Rough, but that's why it's in beta. I'm looking forward to new features but hope it doesn't go overboard, keeping it simple is fine especially with the number of other messengers out there.
I've got a better (longer) review of it here:

I got it about a week ago I think. Not tried it yet, as I haven't asked anyone else if they have it.

It would be nice to have a new, but much more simple messenger out there.
The new MSN 7.5 is packed with so many features and options it's, well, phenomenal.
