Paint Shop Pro 8.
I made the mirror uhura one using pixel shading so I would have got the same dollz if I used MSPaint.

Normal Uhura and Rom and Leeta where made using tool shading.

There are some tutorials at my website.

You could always start making some in paint. There are some converters on the net that allow you to select transparent areas. I think there are some free ones you can put on your hard drive too.

Links for you:

You'll have to try them out and see what your prefer.

Thanks! I'm going to have to try making some soon. I really like to draw (pencil and paper) but I haven't figured out how to transfer my abilities onto the computer...

$200? No way! There are some a lot cheaper than that!

http://search.ebay.com/graphics-tablet_W0QQfromZR40QQsojsZ1

Well, I'm not very good at looking for american sites, seems I've got use to what I want and the price for it.

Hey they have mine one on it!

Okay, umm I'm gonna leave american ebay alone, I can't buy anything off it! hehehe.

You must show me what you get if you get one!
I really want to see what you make!

Even if you don't get one you could always just use the mouse. There are some tutorials out there that can only be completed by using the mouse because of the different settings and such.

I know the mouse isn't the same, it can never be the same. Just view it as a differnet media you have to master like pens, pencils or paint.

I would LOVE to see your fan art!

I think I have one unfinished one uploaded. (no scanner, so uploading pics is a challenge...)

Not my fav character, however I had a decent picture.

I've got an unfinished Picard and Sisko and a finished Janeway

Oh wow! Thats great! *claps*

Yeah he isn't my fav. either.. as the days pass I like him less and less. I can't draw him with a pencil anymore. I'm too tempted to draw a moustache or googly eyes. hehe

Have you got any others online? You've got the style I like Fabulous!

Yeah, I'm fine with the character, but the actor is really getting on my nerves. I was fine when he was quiet and slightly out of the picture. But that buisness at the convention really ticked me off o.O

I don't have any more online. I'll try to get some online soon...I don't do a lot of characters. I generally draw figurines, mostly women in dresses (perfect for dolls ^.^)

Just for you

Audacious: RB said some pretty dumb things at the Las Vegas convention that really pissed a lot of people off. There is a thread somewhere where people are chatting about it.

There was something in Las Vegas?
Okay I donno. I just don't like him....

He is too dry, shows no emotion, like in that episode where his whole past thing and I was sitting there saying "HE DOESN'T CARE!"

Anyway how did this post become about slating Robert Beltran?
It's making me depressed thinking of the talentless *you finish this off I can't stand thinking about this anymore*
