I think it's pretty obvious that he did it for the extra cash and he the fact that he couldn't find a steady acting job

Trek money? - Gold pressed latnium you mean?
Well if B&B blagged hi to do the show for what are actually props then I'm impressed.
I think though that Bakula was let down, he ain the bad guy. B&B told him this show was going to be big and they screwed it up, simple as.

I dont think that scott was just doing it for the money, from some earlier comments i read from some other sites regarding how scott bakula felt about being in enterprise:"He was excited and more than eager to do his part to make the series a success". If there is a down point to the series its the writers, the actors were doing there job.

I don't think he did it for the money. I think he saw something good and went for it. I have watched him act for years and he is a very good actor. Rather he did it for the money, so what. Longs as I get to see him in something. Longs as it is a good movie and a series. I agree that B&B screwed up an good series. Trek won't be the same cause of those two men, in my opinion. Unless they get better writers.

If actors didn't get paid there would be no actors. They could not devote enough time to it if they weren't getting paid. I liked Bakula in Enterprise, I thought he did a good job portraying his character.

Hmmm, he may have. But I'd do it for the money, too.

I'd do it as long as I made the same amount I make now or more. Just because it'd be awesome to say that I played a Star Trek character.

Well, whatever his reasons, the United States is a capitalist nation (and I believe in capitalism). If someone wants to do something legal to earn money, well all the more power to them. He provided enjoyment for a lot of people, including me.

Of course he did it for the money, just like all the other Trek actors/actrisses. It's a well known fact that all the actors from all series wanted more money as the series progressed and got more viewers. Only a very small percantage of all actors don't want money for their effort.

Yeah, but there isn't much you wouldn't do for money,

HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH BLACKULA HAHAAHAHAHAHa. Sorry.
Yeah it's Bakula, but it's okay......anyone could have made this mistake.
*thumbs up*
Okay, now to be on topic..I find it hard to believe that such a decent man would "do it for the money". I should know, I've met him and I found him to be an honest, interesting fellow.
