PostSat Aug 13, 2005 12:15 am    Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)

Another great film.

Resident Evil: Extinction
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0432021/

Starring

Milla Jovovich as Alice
Ode Fehr as Carlos Oliveira
Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine
Sophie Vavasseur as Angie Ashford

Now this movie is the sequel to Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Since the ending of that movie ends with this cast of characters I already know they will appear in the sequel.

I want to see in this movie
Antonio Sabato Jr. play Chris Redfield.
Lacey Chabert play Claire Redfield.

Definitly exciting. I like zombie movies although recently there have been too many. Its kinda getting annoying. But this movie is a sequel... Thats good.

It doesnt have to be like the game. Most people havent played the game. I don't get why you people want to be the game...nothing being the like the game is better because you won't know the ending to the movie.

You forget Mortal Kombat Annhilation.

Movies based off games CAN be good. It just has to be done right.

Street Fighter and Double Dragon are low budget movies and thus were not really good.

Tomb Raider? That movie spawned a sequal. That may not mean its good, but some people like it obviously. That one is more subjective.

I have not seen one good game-based movie.

Tomb Raider? Eh...Angelina Jolie wasn't too good for the part, in my opinion.

The Mortal Kombat movies were TERRIBLE! I don't even need to explain myself.

The Super Mario Brothers movie? That was...weird...to say the least.

House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark...sucked! In general, anything made by the director, Uwe Boll, is bad...I mean, really bad. Alone in the Dark had almost nothing to do with the game! I can't believe he is going to keep making them!

I don't know about BloodRayne. I didn't see it.

I'm a huge Resident Evil fan, y'know. I am NOT looking forward to another RE movie...It will just hurt the series.

About the first Resident Evil? It was okay. I wish it had more to do with the games.
Resident Evil Apocalypse? I'm glad it had something to do with the games (RE3: Nemesis). The part that made me mad? The way they made Jill Valentine seem. Jill in RE3, is a sexy, tough chick...in the movie...she's a little, crybaby...C'mon!!!

I've watched the first two and I have the second one on DVD. I can't wait to see it. I'm trying my best not to read any of the spoilers or even synopisises out on the web.

I so agree with you on that one! I heard that the director of it is a woman and she was the one who directed Crash which was really good so hopefully Silent Hill will be good too.

And as for another RE movie, which I already knew was in the works, I can't wait. I totally love RE games and the first 2 movies, especially the 2nd since it had more action and actual video game characters. I wonder if they'll ever make a movie based on RE4. That would be an interesting story, not to mention creepy.

Could be good, I like them even though their differnt from the games, they have to be, I mean, if they were the same, the first would have had someone walking around a mansion for 2 hours looking behind locked doors

Some spoilers on the 2nd movie.

In Apocalpyse deleted scene a character comes out of her car to meet Alice in the rain and that character is supposed to be the one playing Claire Redfield. However the actress backed out of the role and left the project.

I really want to see a Claire Redfield and Chris Redfield in this movie. I also want to see a Leon Kennedy.

Other characters I would like to see is

Albert Wesker
Ada Wong

Yes, all of those! Especially Wesker and Ada! I mean, they only had Jill and Carlos and RE3 wasn't even that good, it got annoying after a while.
