Hey guys! Where do I start?

I'm a 45 year old subway conductor in NYC. I operate the 1/9 lines. I prefer the 9 because it's the express.

Started watching Star Trek when I was a wee lass, and I've never stopped. I used to do the convention scene until Creation Conventions became Paramount whores. I also love long walks on beaches, and romantic dinners (ha ha. I never know what to say in these things).

Anyway, I'm glad I found you guys. Navigating this place can't possibly be worse than the bums that sleep in my train at night.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone.

This board seems to be fun, so far. I especially like the variety of forums. Having too few makes the board boring, I think.

I'm excited about being able to finally talk about Admiral Janeway until I'm blue in the face, also.

She is one of my favorite topics, to be sure.

I think we're going to become fast friends, zero.

Voyager was clearly one of the best Treks out there, despite all the bad press it gets at times.

Sometimes instead of going out I stay at home, make popcorn and watch a lot of voyager dvd's!

Voyager has some of the best written scripts when it comes to the Trek franchise.

Threshold, IMHO, was groundbreaking in that it brought the topic of interspecies mating to the forefront. I really admired that.

No, I'm not kidding.

I think the scripts really enhanced the chemistry among all the characters, and tackled contemporary issues in an entertaining and thought provoking way. To me, this brings to mind the spirit of the original series.

Now I've heard it all. The spirit of the original series? They should have known to quit while they were still ahead.

I hope I get to know you all better over time. Thanks for stopping in to say, "Hey".

Vader's Leg, the scripts were outstanding. Have you really paid attention to them? There was character development, and fascinating story arcs. Even the way they brought back Kes was extraordinarily done.

Don't get me started on Kes...Voyager lost so many fans after they took her out for Kim's underdeveloped character. It was so unfair....her talent taken away based on looks...it's just so unfair
