We are currently having the "Bangor State Fair". Which, IMO, is reaaaaally crappy. Used to be good, but now it's... not,  We have another one, hosted by the same company, but it is sooooo much nicer, in Scarborough. It was even mentioned in some song, can't remember the name.
So, yeah, what kind of fairs do you all have? Are they nice, crappy?

we are having one here right now. it mainly cators to the red necks in this area. so in other words it blows.

They have really big fairs here in NY. But I don't really do fairs. Walking around in the heat, getting sweaty... ruining clothes. Not for me.

If you're talking about Scarborough Fair, it's probably older than your Scarborough

We have the Hoppings here... never been. The Liverpool Show is the one I went to as a kid, but last I heard it's not on anymore. I like fairs, but never seem to get around to going

We had a carnival here in May. We had fun. My kids loved the tilt the world however you say it.

we have the caribbean carnival (which is today and usually is the first saturday of august) and we have the leicester Expo (a beach in the middle of the town centre)

I went to our State Fair once when I was 9 or so. It was... gross. "Come milk a goat!" like we've never milked a cow or anything before... dumb.
We also get the greasy carnival that comes to the mall parking lot every year. Jack and Blake made me go with them on my birthday and we got conned by a carnie. That was exciting.

We are not having a fair right now.... But when we do have one, it's just rides and games, and food, and people riding horses.

Haha, fairs are where E coli got started, actually. But, everyone has E coli anyway. However, don't drink the water!

Well, there's prarie fest........ *screams* its so horrible..... its just like one big battle of the bands in the highschool parkinglot.
Then there's the Iowa state fair (....I don't even live in Iowa....)That was pretty cool because there was a rodeo n' stuff...
