PostMon Aug 01, 2005 5:17 pm    Incident in "Shockwave" & Columbia incident

Does anybody else think its weird that the enterprise episode "Shockwave, Pt I" was made just a few months before the Shuttlecraft Comumbia incident happened? You watch the episode and it is VERY similar to what happened with the columbia incident.

Shockwave:

Shuttle enters the planets atmosphere and there was an accident.

People died

The enterprise's/starfleets mission was stopped and planned to be halted for 10 - 20 years

Columbia:

Shuttle burns up in the atmosphere

People died

NASA's shuttle mission was stopped for 3 years

I think its creepy how enterprise like almost predicted it, if you take my meaning

You dont understand

What i mean is. It is almost as if enterprise had predicted or anticipated what was going to happen then made it into an episode before the even happened.

You interpreted what i was saying wrong.

Meh, I don't know about "Predicted" but it's a freaky similar of events. It is quite strange, I'll give it that

Just a coincidence, I'm sure the producers didn't have a blast about it.
