Well, u can't shift unless u push in the clutch silly!!!! lol.
When people come to visit me, they get really scared at how I drive! It's fun to scare them ... give them a taste of this life.

Some people change gears, others change gearboxes. 
I drive with my hands at 3-9, use a stick, but sometimes my hands slip down to something more like 5-7. Depends on what I'm driving, though. Big truck, I'd say 4-8 to 3-9.
But the only time I don't have two hands on the wheel is when I'm changing gears or channels on the radio.

Really unsafe. I mean, come on Theresa. Your right hand barely touches the wheel? what if you have too make a sudden turn? sure you do it with 2 hands but when driving on the freeway and your hand first has to reach the wheel that may be to late. |
Freeway? In Maine? That's funny. Besides, I've made quick turns with my hands like that before, takes a nanosecond for the palm to drop. And if you can't make sharp, sudden turns with one hand, should you really be driving?

Yeah, and besides Joey, driving with two hands is a total sign of a complete loser.
 
And if you're a good drive, you will be well aware of your surroundings, so you wont have to make sudden turns .. unless of course, you weren't paying attenting. Which, I tend to do a lot. But I pull it off nicely!

If you really need your full strength to shift the gear up and down several times every few minutes when you're driving in the city, and the shift is that hard to change as you say it is, you seriously have to check your car. The gears shift very smoothly. At times, I use three fingers to shift up and down.

well, then i guess you would also be a loser when you evade the child that suddenly appears in front of your vehicle.... The guy with only one hand on the steer and all the blood on the bumber would say "what a loser..."

It was a joke, silly. And you're right, people should drive with two hands. But I find I drive worse when I have two hands on the wheel.

You drive better the way you're used to doing. I live in rural Maine. I have deer jump out in front of me all of the time, haven't hit one yet. I find driving one handed muuuuuuch easier. Can't really explain how you'd turn the wheel. Lots of wrist movement.
