Yeah that would have been cool if he had met the kid! I would have made that the kid hates Trip because he didn't "give birth", but in the end they bond and they love each other

I think it would have been real funny if the kid was now a teenager (perhaps that species reaches puberty quicker?) and was really moody... especially with Trip.
