Sun Jul 24, 2005 6:25 pm To anyone living in California... |
|
This may sound like a stupid topic, but I'm wondering how you rate Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Is he doing a great job? A good job? A satisfactory job? Or something else?
Not living in the United States, I only know Arnie the bodybuilder and Arnie the actor. Not Arnie the politician and Governor of California. I know he's very good at weightlifting. I know he can defend himself against alien creatures in the jungle, or defeat The T-1000. I'm just curious as to how people rate him as a politician.
If anyone living in California wants to comment, please do. Thank you.

I'm moving this to World News, as its politics. If you can think of a good reason why it shouldn't be... then PM me or a mod of World News.

I dont live in California but from what ive read and heard is a pretty poor governor. He constatly messes up and has a very low approval rating. There is NO way he will be re-elected. Thank God!

Yes, I'm a Californian (well, not originally, but for years now)!
I think Ahnald is not living up to our expectations of him as Governor. I believe his intentions were to fix the mistakes Gray Davis made during his time in office, but I doubt whether Schwarzenegger realized how bad things have gotten in California...so when he made all those promises, I believe they were sincere, but shortlived and futile as it came down to the facts of the matter. I would rate him as 'okay'.

I don't live in CA, but I would agree with the above. I think he should be able to use excessive physical force on those clowns in the legislature.
