***MAKE A SPOILER WARNING iF YOU ARE WRITING A SPOILER, AND PUT IT AS A QUOTE AND IN WHITE TEXT***
example: SPOILER
Quote:
make your spoilers like this

I am a huge Harry Potter fan I love the books and I actually (and this sounds sad) I cried only a little during the end of it which is rather unusual since I have read real stories of peoples death and know people who have died and I never shed a tear.

I am desperate to read book number 8 but when I checkout the Facts and Questions section on J K Rowlings website she states she has no plans to create another Harry Potter, can it be true that she is leaving her awesome novels in such an unfinished position ?
If so why ?
There is so much more to be written, so much more to read.

Post your thoughts here please

There are only 7 years in the Scottish school system, hence why there are only 5 books.

Ok, I haven't even read any of them and I know the answer to this.

There are 6 books currently and shes working on number 7, then stopping.

The things you pick up when your mom and brother love the things..... lol.

I never realized the book I was reading was only number 6 however I think the entire series could go easily to number 10.
I suppose that it only goes to number 7 is because 7 is a magical number in Harry Potter.

No, it's number 7 because she's only documenting his years at Hogwarts, not after. For world book day, she might produce an epilogue, I suppose, but there will be no 8th book.
You know the prophesy "Neither can live whilst the other draws breath"? I swear it should be "Neither can die whilst the other draws breath". To me that makes more sense, because it would mean that Harry would HAVE to die to save the world from Voldemort, and it would wrap up the legacy properly. I reckon she's going to kill Harry in the seventh book anyway.

I think the prophecy makes alot of sense,
Neither can live while the other draws breath

Harry cant have a normal life while Voldermort is alive
and
Voldermort cant take control while Harry is around because Harry always ruins his plans

Yeah... but I still think it should be the other way round. And I so want a clock like Mrs Weasley's. Except... I'd hate my mum having one. She'd always know where I was.

I don't think an 8th book is a good idea...Rowling already has too many people pissed because she's taking away all the characters that Harry cares about in his life....Sirius...and now (I don't wanna spoil it) another key player...anyway, there are only 7 books...7 years in the scottish system, etc....all good things must come to an end...

True 7 years and I wont spoil it for anyone but that seems rather pointless,
What about him as a fully grown wizard ?
I WANT THE NEXT BOOK ALREADY

LOL Patience, young grasshopper....

I haven't read the Half-Blood Prince yet...waiting for my friend to let me borrow it...I won't buy it unless I really want it, and since I already know who dies in this book...I'm betting I won't end up purchasing it. Rowling's pissing me off lol.

Oh, I cried during book four, back when I cared. You know at that moment right after Cedric dies and Harry's in the hospital wing and he starts crying in Mrs Weasley's arms? Yeah, I cried then. And I cried at the beginning of Order, when he was shouting at Ron and Hermione. I gues I would have cried at Sirius's death if she hadn't writted it so crappily (yes, I know that's not a real word). It was all confusing a stupid. Falling through a curtain. Phrh! He should have had a noble death.

There will be no book 8. Like I said, if you're lucky, she will write an epilogue for either World Book Day (you know they release those little 1 books for the day) or Comic Relief.

Maybe other really good writers will write more books,
Unless she won't let them

She won't let them. Never let other authors write your story. It's a stupid mistake to do.

I hope she DOESN'T make any more after the 7th. Too much of a good thing is bad. They would become rubbish and mediocre

Yep. That's why she needs to kill Harry in the 17th. Let him die defeating Voldemort, it makes him a noble hero AND wraps up the series nicely.

That is very very true, I think though that making it so , SPOILER ,
Quote:
Albus is still alive would be good.
Say the ministry used an apparation slip to steal him during the apparation and switch him with a ministry official acting as him.
Or a time turner.
I just want him to remain alive

The above is a spoiler that is in white, if you don't want to spoil the 6th book do not read.

Maybe a Harry Potter online game, something like Star wars galaxies where you can go through the game become a dark wizard or a good wizard, powerful or weak, thief or honest, own a business or work for someone (E.G. the ministry) and have the ministry and aurorers and the magical law enforcement department.
Death Eaters
Ministry
Student
Teacher
EVERYTHING
I think a game like that would be awesome

Put your spoiler in quotes for you so it can't be read unless someone selects it

I agreee madlilnerd- JK needs to kill Harry in book 17 I'd love there to be an extra 10 books

in truth, I think that he won't be killed in the last book, but things will be tied up anyway. JK seems to be that sort of author.

I meant 7. How dare I disgrace my religeon's hallowed number by putting it in a post about Harry Potter! I must go whip myself at once!

Oh, before I go and become one of those strange people from the middle ages who walked around whipping themselves to make them more holy, I have a question involving book six (SPOILER)

Quote:
I know that Dumbledore dies in book 6 because my mum ran round the house crying and I knew any way. I can't be bothered to read the rest of the book, so I just want to know this one thing, does DRACO die? please say no, everyone knows he's the best character!

True but draco wouldn't have killed Albus (Can't spell his surname), he was just about to put his wand down when the death eaters appeared, he is a good charactor but why did Albus have to die ?[/

What does everyone think of my Harry Potter game ?
