I rented Season One today. Has anybody seen this? It looks pretty good. I've never actually seen an episode.

I've seen the pilot. Its terrifically funny. However, I haven't seen more yet. Maybe I'll rent season 1.

If you like Dead Like Me, keep an eye out for the Wonderfalls DVD set in December. They were conceived by the same person (Brian Fuller), and Wonderfalls was executive produced by Tim Minear (Firefly).

Robert Duncan McNeill directs 2 eps of that programme. The episodes are call Reaping Havoc and Reaper Madness.

Cool, sounds great, I'll try to remember Wonderfalls. Are they similar?

From what I've seen of DLM (not a whole lot), I'd say that they're similar enough to appeal to the same group.

Well, it looks like Season One is the pilot, Unless they're missing a disk or something. Either way, it was great. Funny and the end was kinda dramatic. Looks like a really good show, I'll have to rent Season Two, now.

Well, I'll have to wait and see if they video place also is going to Rent Wonderfalls,

I read an interview about this in the tv magazine they used to send out, and it seemed interesting. Didn't have the channel it's on, though.

Me, neither. That's why I have to rent it.

And I found out that the video store broke up season one. So I rented disk one (out of four), which only had the pilot on it,

Is very spiffy. The second season comes out sometime in August, so, they better get it at Hollywood Video, They did get like 8 copies of Six Feet Under (season 3), sooooooooo.

Did you guys like Betty better than Daisy? I like Daisy ok, but I think I liked Betty better.

I liked Betty better, too. Daisy is just finally getting a little more interesting, as I recall. But its been a while since I watched the first season. Something about her once having been in love, blah blah blah. Typical character stuff. But Betty was more fun.

I watched one episode of this and really liked it. A guy in a bar spontaneously combusted!
But then I missed the episode the next week and they stopped showing it. I watched a bit of the first episode of Wonderfalls, but it looks dumb. This red lion was talking to her in a shop. It was... not appealing to me. But I did like something she said, "I'm a puppet, the universe is always sticking it's hand up my ass."

Yeah, we're talking about Dead LIke Me, not Wonderfalls.

So yeah, Aaron. In the second to last episode of season 1, you know when they're all at Happy Time putting all the booking onto disks and stuff? That's when Mason sees Daisy's last thought which was "Why didn't anybody ever love me." So I guess that got me into her character a little more.. maybe they had to put a guilt trip on us to make us like her. I did like one of her first episodes, though, when George walks in and Daisy's sobbing and tlaking about her life being hard but then it ends up she's just doing a scene from a play. That was good. Daisy's like a lot of girls I knew in high school so I kind of get her. "I once blew the leading man in that movie." "You mean you actually blew Clark Gable?" "Wel, I blew one of them. They were at a table having a cast dinner and I was underneath it. But somebody pointed and said 'no, that's Clark Gable. It's such a big cast. I think this one was from the Confederacy..."

Haha, oh yeah. Every episode she'd mention somebody else she'd given a bj to. The only thing is that it isn't all that funny after the first few times, though. So, thank gosh they're developing her character just a little bit. But yes, I agree, its a guilt thing, but its welcome at least for her, Not that it necessary makes me like her character more, but I guess it finally makes her character seem a little smarter than what she lets on. But when she stole that guys car?

Rented the first disk of Season 2 today. Woohoo!
