The season starters was great.
I really love the fact that Claudia Black will play a lot more roles.
And of course Stargate Atlantis was just awesome.
(I think UK wont aire those new episode until the next coming months) (It takes forever for new episodes to get to the UK.)

Feel sorry for us who haven't got SKY - the first half of the pilot episode only just aired last Friday. Actually I don't like the way 5 has marketed it so far (what I've seen anyway) - it makes it look like some cheesy sci-fi show...doesn't stand out at all. If I weren't already interested in Stargate I wouldn't have given it a second look. But then again that's me.
I was surprised it was actually on 5 - I felt sure it would have stayed on Channel 4 with Stargate....but there ya go.

I agree - they should have spread the whole Wraith story out longer. They're made out to be this horrific, dangerous, scary enemy. Yet before they're midway through the season they've even managed to capture one. Similarly, they're so dangerous - was it McKay or Sheppard who got shot in the HEAD by a Wraith weapon and was only stunned. Deary me. Very scary indeed.

Some wraiths cant die even when shot 1000 times and some die after 50 shots to the chest. So I think the show producer needs to fix this problem.

But they can't cause the Wraiths think Atlantis is gone. 
But about the intro. The really short 10 second one. Yeah it was cool, but completely lame. I like the old intro.

I'd love to see the new intro - does anyone know if it has been posted online? I know the opening themes are often made available so I'd love to hear (and see) what this new one looks/sounds like.

They didn't even do the opening themes last friday. They just showed a group picture of the main cast, and then the name of the show. Took 8 seconds.

I managed to see the Season 2 opener tonight and I thought it was an excellent conclusion but I say again that the Wraith aren't scary, they're cannon fodder.
And I thought the opening credits (or lack thereof) were just insulting.

Haha, yeah. They did the same thing with the second episodes of both shows. It appears they're instead now opting for "Last time on Stargate: ___" and showing scenes from the last episode.

Could be, BG has the highest ratings in the history of Sci Fi's original series... Maybe thats why, blah. Its kind of annoying though, IMO.
