Would this be Before or after we invaded their country with no evidence?

Before and after like RM said. Using the evidence the foreign nations and our intelligence gave us.

Liberal propaganda doesn't count.

Tsk, it was all quotes from military officals, not even they would change quotes, especially when it agrees with them, I'm sure.

We've done the same thing numerous times, how does that make us any different or better?

If you are referring to us giving aide to Iraq during the Iran-Iraq War and to Osama during the Afghanistan conflict, put them into the context of the times

Those aren't the only times.

You are trying to rationalize those to your mindset, it wont work.

many times it was the US giving aid to terrorists to usurp a government we didn't like. Iraq did the same thing. Now how does that make them any different. Any person not thinking by government standards would see that.

What makes it different is that this time it was us on the recieving end, not our enemy.

Could you please give an example? The closest thing that you could give is the Oliver North scandal, which went above the President's nose. And I don't get why we're debating this right now--the comment was about Iraq having no connection with Al Quada and whatnot, which is FALSE.

My Commentary wrote:
In the past I have talked about how the media has been playing into the hands of the terrorists by pushing this story, and talked about what else the terrorists would say when they were let freeoh, things were great there. Yeah, right.
Well, I just wanted to say that it has been reported that there were no findings of TORTURE. Just some mild cases of abuses such as forcing a man to wear a bra, forcing a man to wear a dog leash, and having a dog used to get him to speakbut nothing severe and torturous. This is not tortureit is pure abuse, and while I do not condone it, it is NOT reason for the left to make our brave men and women seem like the bad guys in this war. These abuses are rare, and those that do do them are given their just punishment. It is NOT policy therejust a few people who are using more extreme corrosive tactics. But so what if they are? Sure, they shouldnt do it, but at the same time the detainees are men caught in the field, and if they are not terrorists, then they are releasedand many who are released are terrorists, in fact, and go back into the field killing Americans.
Im not for these corrosive tactics, per se, but I am for someafter all, these ARE terrorists for Cripes Saketerrorists who would do much more to the Americans than were doing to them there.
And besides, the detainees are treated quite well there overall, getting treatment that US prisoners dont even get, from free prayer rugs to Korans to being allowed to pray 5 times a day to other things dictated by their religion. But overall its like what Rush Limbaugh calls itClub Gitmo. Rare cases of abuse, yes. But nothing more. Keep in mind that these people are NOT Prisoners of War and are NOT American citizens, therefore do not deserve the same treatment as those cases would demand.
For the Liberals and Media to be playing like our troops are the bad guys is just foolish and wrong.

So as long as we think they're guilty then it's ok not to treat them well. I just hope if you're in somewhere like Saudi Arabia or Egypt and are arrested as a terrorist but not tried for years you don't complain. After all, they will have more information than us normal people, and will have to be right. Also since you wouldn't be from there then you don't need to have the same rights, just as you wouldn't be a solidier so you can't be a POW. Not that it's likely to happen, but view it from another point of view.
