Most people's hands have thumbs, which have their own special joint. Which sticks out further on the side, and makes the hand wider than the wrist, therefore holding on the bracelet,

Well, I never take it off. But it gets annoying because it is so big on me. It goes past the middle of my forearm. Half the time I don't notice until one of my freinds tell me I look like an idiot with it all the way up there! lol. grrr
