I think they do, honestly. There is a lot of space out there to get lost in. There has to be something out there.. guess thats why we have science. For it is the finding of the truth 
Although.. we can't rule out that we might be the begining of.. what ever that is

Logically, I'd have to say no.....
NOt really. I just miss the X-Files. Um, yeah. I think they do exist. My 11th grade chem teacher tried proving it mathematically to us and I'd have to say it was pretty convincing. Not that I didn't believe before that. But I agree with Andy, it'd be an awful waste of space. And I think it's selfish of humans to think that Earth is the only populated planet in the universe.

I'm pretty sure I saw a UFO once! It was awesome. It was completely round and moved waaaaay to fast to be a blimp or an air balloon. My whole family saw it so it wasn't just me. We were in Jamaica.

All living things on Earth are made from combinations of just 20 amino acids. Out those 20, 7 have been found in interstellar space (so far). Experiments which have simulated the condition of intersellar space (vacuum, UV radiation and gasses) have resulted in 16 of the 20 amino acids.
It is therefore likely that life on Earth is not the only life in the universe.
On the other hand, life on Earth has been nearly wiped out, over and over. It is likely that having single-cell life evolve into intelligent beings is highly unusual.
I firmly believe there is life out there, but I do not believe Earth has ever been visited by aliens.

Thats what i find funny, if we evolved on a planet, couldn't another alien race do so? why would the amino acids have to be in the vacume of space in order to there to be life?

I'm with Val. I swear I saw one once too. It was in Louisville. It was this big oval shaped disc with four rows of lights, but instead of really fast, it was really slow. I mean really slow. It barely seemed to be moving. My dad said it was an airplane, but I stand by my story.
So yeah. I do believe they exist.

As far as I know, nothing is wrong with you, Foreigners living in the US are called aliens, My asst. pastor is a Canadian citizen, living here, so he's an alien.

By finding amino acids in space, it shows that it is more likely that Earth's life came from space than the amino acids in space came from Earth. And if life on Earth came from space, it makes it likely that life could be on other planets. But if you study the Earth's past, you will find that humans are not a logical result of evolution, but rather a highly unlikely success story.
The odds of life existing elsewhere are high, but the odds of that life resulting in "intelligent" (i.e. spacefaring) species are correspondingly low.

I'd have to say yes. The universe is infinite, meaning an infinite number of planets and we've certainly seen from earth that life can thrive even in the harshest conditions so it's logical to assume that somewhere there is some form of alien life 
Whether they're intelligent and visited earth is an entirely different matter

Yes, i think there is live in space. I mean, they even found that there were traces of water a long time ago on Mars. And the universe is big, we even haven't explored the whole sector were Earth is in. Maybe they are now in space, observing us, we don't know  . But, someday, they will show thier selves to us. Then it will be FIRST CONTACT.

Just because humans may have been an "Highly unlikely Success Story" does not mean we are the only life in the universe, surely this happend somewhere eles? Earth cant be the only planet like the type it is in the universe

It expresses the number (N) of "observable civilizations" that exist in our Milky Way galaxy as a simple multiplication of several, more approachable unknowns.
R is the rate at which stars have been born in the Milky Way per year, fp is the fraction of these stars that have solar systems of planets, ne is the average number of "Earthlike" planets (potentially suitable for life) in the typical solar system, fl is the fraction of those planets on which life actually forms, fi is the fraction of life-bearing planets where biological evolution produces an intelligent species, fc is the fraction of intelligent species that become capable of interstellar radio communication, and L is the average lifetime of a communicating civilization in years.

If we were alone, though, does that seem like a totally depressing concept? If undeniable existence was given of us being alone in the universe, how would people feel?
I already discussed the possibility of aliens a few days ago on this forum, in the General Trek forum. I said that I didn't think there were aliens in this galaxy because conditions were not right and only Earth could sustain life. I didn't rule out aliens living in another galaxy, although I doubt they could reach us. The time it would take to get here, the energy required and the dangers of interstellar travel leads me to believe aliens would find it almost impossible to get here, especially trying to enter Earth's atmosphere.
However, it is possible, I suppose. But getting back to my original point, does anyone find it a depressing thought that we could be alone in this universe?

I don't think that we are the only life forms God created. I believe he could have made other beings on the other side of the galaxy.
He has a plan. Maybe one day we will encounter them and make first contact. Hopefully it will be good contact and not a bad one.
If we do find out there are other beings, I hope they are friendly and not wanting to take over the world. Who knows, they may end up friendly.
