If the house burnt down I would put on some clothes (I have them nicely arranged on my bedroom floor) and climb out onto the extension roof and into the garden. But I'd probably grab some possessions first. You know, irreplaceable stuff like photos or artwork.
But yeah, just because I sleep naked doesn't mean I like parading around in the nude.

I wear shoes/socks as little as possible at home...it's really odd to find me inside the house with anything on my feet. I certainly wouldn't change this habit for sleeping.

The hardest part of having a floor closet is working out which are clean clothes and which are dirty. A simple sniff usually distinguishes.
I'm not really big on any kind of foot restraint. I get claustraphobic toes.

I dunno which I should choose, cuz I always start out with socks on my feet and then I wake up without them on...it's a mystery as to where they go...I don't understand...I KNOW I wear socks to bed, but....the minute I'm conscious, it's like there's some little poltergeist stealing them off my feet at night! *frustrated sigh*

It really depends, if I'm alone in bed I sometimes wear socks because I have a tile floor in my room, so its REALLY cold, but if a certain someone is with me, there be no need for something else to keep me warm.

When I was younger, I went on a vacation with my parents. They'd let me walk on bare feet cuz there was gravel all around the house, and I didn't like to walk on that with bare feet. So they always knew I was around and wouldn't walk away from the house!  Such funny story, I suddenly remembered it.

I used to wear socks to bed when I was little but every morning I would have found that I kicked them off. and usually one would have dissapeared weird huh go figure. so now I just go barefoot to bed. less trouble and not so many socks go missing.

I know what you mean, he makes a great hot water bottle. But sometimes I feel he's using me for my collection of heavy metal.
I do get claustrophobic toes!! I'm not lying! When I was younger I was claustrophobic all over, but now it seems to have just migrated to my feet. They hate being squished!
