Walmart has yellow and orange Children's Miracle Network ones. Don't have one, though I do support CMN.

I have a "Be the Change" one, used to have a Live 8 one, which was also a Make Poverty History, just a special version of it, but gave it to a friend.

Totally... that would be acceptable.
I don't have any and I don't want any. If I want to give money to charities, I'll either buy something off them that is good quality or just donate. Those wristbands are gross because they get all sweaty and dirty. Plus, I don't really like the feel of them... and some people go OTT and buy really stupid ones that say "Love" and stuff, you know, non charity ones.

It's also a way for people to identify with each other.

I have the livestrong-band, yes, and I also want the white band from 'One', but you have to order them in the USA with a creditcard and I don't have that.. So too bad.

The "one" band is the USA's Make Poverty History one. You could see if your country has its own, or you could order it from the UK, since that's closer

Yeah I looked on the website you gave me, but I still need to pay with a creditcard, even though the site is from my country! But thanks anyway

The Daily Mail (english broadsheet... I think) printed this whole load of bull about young people using the wristbands as a sort of secret code. Apparently:
Blue meant hetrosexual male
pink meant hetrosexual female
purple or turquoise meant gay
yellow meant lost virginity
green meant sexually available
and so on. Stupid things like that.
Come on, that is such a load of crap... we don't need wristbands to work out if someone is male or female. We may not be the brightest of generations, but even we can work that out.

And *shock* I thought that some of the young people were actually wanting to support charity, or they just liked the colours
I know the kids in my street either just liked the colours or they wanted to support a specific charity- which is why they get the blue ones (beat bullying).
