I feel the same way Thats why my rpg is set after that episode. I recently leared that they had plans to do more mirror eps if the show continued, so in other words, season five we would have seen more emporess sato

I just saw the two parter myself and I had the same thing. What the hell was that?

I wouldn't go that far. It was a very good two parter. I thought it was great. It just showed us a glimps of what could or would have been. It does make me want to see more though. Oh well, that's the whole fun of it I guess.

Amen to that.
It's was dark, it was evil, and it was very fitting. I wish more Trek ended like that, instead of the casual happy "We're all happy because we saved the day, so let's warp away." I found that routine was starting to get a little old, so this is a very welcome change of pace in my books.
It ends evil. Wheee!! I luv that!

I thought they did an excellent job of the gorn in that episode. You can look at that creature and say that looks like a cgi version of a gorn (when compared to the gorn suits used in TOS).

I saw the second half of this episode on accident, I TiVoed it and the guide said it was the last episode of Enterprise. When I first played it...I was like...okay what is this? Why have they changed the theme song - again!?
I do love the idea of a 'evil' mirror universe. I loved Living Witness, Voyager's counterpart to this one. One of the things that bugged me in this episode was the acting. Okay so your evil...but Bakula's acting especially was a little too...Shatner-like. For my tastes. Maybe the guy's played too many good guys over the years, it's hard for him to go evil. Though I'm sure for an actor it would be more interesting to play evil than good.
I did like the little twist at the end of this episode.

There was plans to continue this storyline but the show was cancelled. should have started the MU episodes in season one!
I LOVED these episodes, I cannot say it enough, probably my fave trek eps of all the trek!
I loved the TOS episodes, and the DS9 ones, but this one was by far, way better, probably because of it being a non-cross over.
Not to mention... MU T'Pol and Hoshi

I wish they would have added on from part 2, there is so much more to the storyline.(T'pol was my favorite character in that episode)
I agree, in the mirror, darkly was my absolute favorite of the entire series of enterprise.

I liked it. Although I think I've seen part one too much, as I always find myself wanting to watch the second part. I love the opening theme.

I thought there should have been a 3rd part to "in the mirror darkly", too see what happens to sato, t'pol and the defiant. Ending it with sato making demands to the terran empire was rather lame.

To be fair, the script to this episode was written well before, and was well into production when news of the series cancellation came down from the top. It also wasn't supposed to add to an overall story, I don't think any of the MU episodes ever had, even on DS9 (Save for the continuing arc in DS9 of the Terran Rebellion), so I have to ask...why is it so offensive (not the best term, I know) that Enterprise had an episode (Two, actually) in the mirror universe that didn't serve as some sort of part to an overall story?
I said it before, and will say it again, it was well done and even connected to the rest of the franchise, being in the mirror universe and revealing (If you didn't see this episode first) the fate of the USS Defiant (Several references to the TOS episode, Tholian Web are heard, actually). It was fun to see darker version of the heroes, and the actors in interviews said they had fun (Despite the cancellation hanging over their heads) acting in these episodes.
