I believe in the Yeti. There's alot of things we don't know about this planet and like the loch ness monster, I think the Yeti exists only not many of us have experienced seeing it yet. I do like to have proof, but I won't dismiss the theory simply because there is no proof therefore it doesn't exist.

I believe in the creatures. I honestly do believe there is a whole world inside our own that we have not discovered yet.

I believe in big foot, aliens, loch ness. I don't believe most of the videos or pictures people take and send in. But I did watch this show called "Fact or Fiction" or something like that ... anyway, they showed this home video of these two people camping ... and they dropped the camera and it had big foot walking... or running away and looking back at them. But it turned it's whole body and not just the neck. How can an average person (redneck who was trying to make money from this if it is made up) know that A gorilla or anything of that species can not turn it's neck and has to turn it's whole torso.?

Anyway, I believe they are real, to a certain extent.

But if the Yeti truly exists its not just one but a family, just like Nessie.

yeah, agree with madlilnerd there. we know nothing of the earth. well, we do know something but definitly not everything. as soon as they have landed on the bottom of the Marriana trogg(sp?) which is 10 KM under water i say we have been everywhere and now can get too know every speices but not yet, nope not yet.

it wold be helpfull for space travel too if they first try too get the the deepest point in the world. Better hulls, lighter materials.

The waters scare me. Any body of water that I can not see straight through will terrify me!

I do believe there are creatures out there that w ehave not gotten to explore yet.

But still, Unicorns are a very strong symbol to me. So ... if I want to believe in them ... I will.

I beleive in bigfoot, scientists have found hair which cannot be matched with any known DNA samples, they've found huge footprints, they've found beanches and trees ripped apart uncharacteristically of any known animal. How is it that SO many trustworthy people have seen bigfoot, if it didn't exist? There's just too much evidence that there is something out there.

I mean, it wasn't until last year that we finally found a whole Giant Squid body in tact; proving its existence.

'Yeti's hair' defies DNA analysis

British scientists on the trail of the Yeti have found some of the best evidence yet for the existence of the mythical Himalayan creature � a sample of hair that has proved impossible to identify.

Genetic tests on the hair, which was gathered from a tree in Bhutan, have failed to match its DNA to that of another animal. The findings, which have surprised sceptical researchers, raise the strong possibility that the sample belongs to an as yet undiscovered species.

In Bhutan, an expedition team was led by an �official Yeti-hunter� to a forest in the eastern part of the country, where he was convinced that an animal was at large. �He told us that he had found evidence of the Yeti in the hollow of a cedar tree,� Rob McCall, a zoologist who was part of the expedition, said. Dr McCall�s team removed strands of hair from the tree and returned to Britain to have them analysed.

Bryan Sykes, Professor of Human Genetics at the Oxford Institute of Molecular Medicine, one of the world�s leading experts on DNA analysis, who examined the hair, said: �We found some DNA in it, but we don�t know what it is. It�s not a human, not a bear nor anything else we have so far been able to identify. It�s a mystery and I never thought this would end in a mystery. We have never encountered DNA that we couldn�t recognise before.�

The discovery was made by a team of scientists assembled by Channel 4 for a documentary in the To the Ends of the Earth series, which will be shown tonight.

Pieces of giant squid and near-intact (though decomposed) specimens have been found in the belly of whales for decades. Enough that their existence was verified.

The existence of a few hairs does not mean they came from a "Yeti". It could be some stupid little monkey.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I don't think its an extraordinay claim to say that there are near-extinct animals in the wilderness which we don't know of.

Plus, I think that thosands of eye-witness claims from unrelated people around the world is extraordinary evidence.
