For the moment I'm working two jobs in the same lab. I help teach kids about marine stuff on weekends and during a couple special week-long camps, and on a normal week I'm a lab technician...cleaning things, feeding things, culturing things...and doing any other dirty task Grant can come up with.

I work

1. The Home Depot as what they call a "lot attendant", that's pushing carts in and loading people's cars and doing... basically any other grunt work that no one wants to do. But I say "shove it" to everyone working inside who thinks we're the "untouchables". I'm so dark now from being out in the sun that I look like a dark Mexican. Not to mention what Jessica refers to as my "big man muscles" (we load a lot of concrete)

2. Phil Long Expo Center... every now and then if they call me and if I need money. Concessions. Blah. But eh. It's free food. And plus, since I'm a Ford employee, I get a discount on cars.

I applied at the home depo the other day. If they hire me, I'll make 5 cents above minimum wadge, which is 4 cents more than all my other friends make.

Well, I'm on the hunt for a job...my sister works at a small amusement park here in Southern California (Castle Park). I'm thinking maybe next summer I'll apply there, but for now I'm kind of stuck without a way to get to work. Though I'm going to need to start saving up so I can get into a Summer Immersion program because I plan to spend a month in France, perhaps attend a language school there after I finish college.

I work at a fast food place (Sonic Drive In) and have been there for about a year. I take orders, do drinks, bag the food, and make ice-cream. Lately have been working ALOT. Will have some overtime this week, so that is def a plus, the 1.5x pay is always lovely.

Last week though, I did apply at Target for a job, so we'll see how that comes through.

Target is awesome. I don't know why Lightening Boy didn't like it, but I've been there for almost 2 years. It's a great company to work for, great pay and benefits. My hours are awesome too, 6 am to 2:30 pm. 40 hours a week and weekends off. Right now I'm on the pricing team, although there is much talk of promotions!

I'm still at the dentist office and am a teachers assistant at summer school, but i'm looking for a new one right now. they need someone who can work more hours at the dentist office. I've got 3mos. though to look. Right now i'm looking at the YMCA in "kids stuff" and get a free membership there in the process!! The other place is Sylvan Learning Center as a Teacher's Assistant.

As of a few days ago, laid off.

Victim of corporate downsizing. The government squeezed down on big business (namely the crackdown on Washington Mutual and some others) further and further, then I came out the other end.

Ah, i'll put something together, maybe get a government job...

Seriously, i'm going to try to get a parttime job as a Senate Committee Page, I was offered the job last legislative session, but I turned it down because it would interfere with school too much.
