Are Canadians better musicians?
I find that most musicians from Canada are better muscians than Americans because they sell a lot of more albums than the American Bands.
Just to name a few chart selling Canadian Bands.
Alanis Morrisette ( over 40million Albums sold)
Celine Dion (Millions of album sold)
Avril Lavigne
Sum41
Barenaked Ladies
I think Canadians will take over the American Music Charts.

I'm gonna say... no. Because I really can't stand any of those bands. Except for maybe the Barenaked Ladies.

Your nationality has nothing to do with how good you are at producing music. Any perceived advantage in nationality is probably just a trend in popularity of the music industry.

It all depends on what music you like. I wouldn't say they're better, but I will say that I like the music they bring. (I have a wide music range here. lol)

No. They're just as good as other music producing countries, but not better.

Um... your list is greatly lacking... (Maybe Canada's worst. )
Anywho, Canada's best:
The original SuperTrio, RUSH!
But, you know; Rush, BTO, the Guess Who, William Shatner... Yeah, Canada's got some edge.

Indeed, Canada does have some good bands.
One reason for the apparent increase of Canadian music is that indie music is becoming more popular; and in Canada, many new bands are choosing to go independent rather than find a big Vancouver or Toronto record label to launch them. So as indie music becomes more popular in the U.S., Canadian indie bands become more notable.

The U.S. has Manowar, that's good enough for me.

America's metal selection is good... but it all gets downgraded by the icky urban music.

Mallcore (nu-metal) doesn't count.

I hate that secularist urban garbage. It has no emotion, hip-hop and rap are about nothing more than touting some kind of cheap gratification.
I listen only to some older country, prog-rock, and guitar shredders.
