And he wasn't even that sexy in american psycho!

It was a little long but I think that made Batman's eventual appearance all the more effective, much more effective than if Batman had appeared after 15 minutes. Anticipation can be a good thing. It was the same with the 1978 Superman movie, they really built it up to Supes first appearance and it paid off.

That was the intention. Looks like the director and actor did his job.
The Scarecrow is one creepy villain. He used his fear gas on The Joker once, about 13 years ago in one of the comics. Guess what? The Joker enjoyed it - sick freak!!!

Possibly. I don't mind as long as they keep Robin out of the film. Let Batman remain a solo character, as he originally was in 1939.

.... sometimes it helps when you have someone to help you out, watch your back. Don't forget, batman does not have any superhero powers ... he is but a man. And can fall at any time.

But he is a man at the peak of physical perfection. He is a man who is very, very intelligent.
Robin has his place in a good Batman story. But I don't like him in the movies because I prefer Batman movies to be darker and I feel Robin brighten's them up a bit too much.
Keep Robin in the comics and on TV, I say.

Feel free to disagree, though. It's just my opinion. Yours is equally valid. Some people feel that Robin does have a place in the Batman movies.

No, I like the movies to be darker as well. Maybe if robin wasn't so damn cheerful.

There was a second Robin in the comics who made his debut around the early 80s. He was a flawed character, with psychological problems. That Robin would probably be a better choice for a Batman movie. His name was Jason Todd.

naa, too much drama for one movie. We only need one main character and that is the bat.

My thoughts exactly. I'd like to see a solo Robin movie but I don't think ANY supehero movie should be overloaded with characters from the extended family.

Hmm... I don't think there is much to tell in a Robin movie.
I mean, well, I don't know. I just don't know what robin can do. He already went after 2face for killing his famly....

Well, in the comics, it was Boss Anthony Zucco who killed the original Robin's parents, whilst Two-Face did that in the movie. Of course, comics rewrite history every so often.
Robin did lead a group known as The Teen Titans for awhile, which *might* make for an interesting movie. We'll have to see.

I do. Come to think of it, with the exception of She-Hulk, I can't think of any barefoot superheroes, although there was a super-villain called Giganta, who fought in her bare feet...
