Charlie, the kids , and I are going to South Carolina Saturday. We are going to visit family and Sunday at midnight, we are shooting fireworks.
And probably Monday night too. But, Monday we have to come back to GA cause of an appt on Tuesday. So our trip and fun is short.

Fireworks are illegal here in NY. I'll probably go to a friend's house or something. I usually go to their family reuinions, and I think its on the 4th this year.

We're having some sort of big thing for my father's 50th birthday, (7-6), tomorrow, and knowing everyone else here, we'll just stay here, or go next door. Veeery outside chance we'll go to the lake w/ my mother's family.

We're having a big BBQ. No fireworks, though. They're illegal here due to everything being so dry. hey! Let's burn the city down!

Bangor and Brewer do their fireworks together, launching them from the river. A few years ago, there was an accident on the barge, several things caught on fire at once. Best fireworks we ever had,

Nothing special planned. Just gonna watch the fireworks on July 4th. I might actually end up being in Colorado on July 4th, but its doubtful.

Trust me, we are open, we only close Christmas day, and Thanksgiving. But that's ok. It will probably be fun because no one will want come since they will all be having bbq. So we (me, the manager, and the girls working that day) are planning some stuff to do while we are there .

Like any good American, I am going to eat barbeque and drink beer until I pass out, while setting things on fire and screaming gibberish at the top of my lungs.
{edit} Oh, wait. You said "special". Nevermind.

I will most likely enjoy my day off from work, watch some television, and listen/watch some fireworks that go off from our downtown area .
