I guess children love the fantasy aspect of it. When I was a kid, I used to enjoy fantasy from the likes of C.S. Lewis and Roald Dahl. There's nothing better than immersing yourself in a fantasy world for three hours.

Well, Captain, life would be boring if we all liked the same things. Not to put words in Zero's mouth, but maybe she likes the fantasy aspects of it, if there are any.

I like the fanasty aspect of the movies/books it is the acting in the movies and the overall way the books are made out that is in my opinion weird but yes you are right life would be boring if everbody like all the same things.

I have always loved movies about magic.... or anything about it.
David Blane is soooo amazing to me!
And I love Harry Potter movies, I don't know why.. But it takes my mind off of the real world and lets me use my imagination and stuff like that.
Can't explain it.
Why do you like star wars? I can't stand star wars..... I find it sooo boring and lame. So... I guess the way I feel about HP you feel about SW.

At least I understand now why you don't like Harry Potter.
Regarding magic, I love seeing a magic show. Here in England, there was a guy called Paul Daniels whose magic show aired from 1979-1994 - I don't think I missed an episode.

I started reading the books right after the 4th came out, way back when I was a little kid. I thought they were really good, and back then I also liked the movies. Of course now I haven't read any of the books since the 5th one (which was confusing as hell for me) came out. I don't mind the movies much, they're ok when I'm bored. I'm not nearly as interested in it as I was 4 or 5 years ago.

She ruined everything with the fifth one. The fourth one was perfectly set up for the whole return of voldemort etc etc and then she ruined it with the awful fifth one which had little plot, more new but pointless characters and bits so confusing that I do not understand how a child could have enjoyed it.

I can't stand it. It's like the worlds gone crazy!!! I think he should be killed. In a very gruesome death.
