Do you think that if Voyager or Captain Kirk and Picard's Enterprise were real that President Bush would use them on Osama binLaden to seek his and Americas REVENGE on those idiots who did this to the WTC because I know I would. Heck, I'd use all the weapons on BinLaden like, the photon torpedos and I'd make sure it had the armor technology just in case.

It would be cool if we did have that technology, we could find him, and no one else would get hurt. Unfortunately that desnt quite exist yet.
If it did, we could put them on Ferenginar. The Ferengi could talke lessons from him on selfishness and greed!

We have to watch out for the whole "Martyr" thing. It would be best if the Northern Alliance killed him.
As to the tech, well, it doesn't have transporters, but one of the ships out there right now is the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise.

i actually think that voyager, capt. kirk, picard would find a more peace full way to deal with the terrists...like beaming them to the ship to wait trial. not blowing them up, unless it is a last resort.
but it would be really good, if we had the technology so we could blow them to bits

Think of the Al-Queda as the Borg. They have one purpose, and they will not negotiate. They want what they want, and that's it. And obviously, they are not above killing innocents to prove it. I think even Picard would vaporize them.

The Borg analogy may be more apt than you realize. They are Borg, we are 8472, blasting the he** out of them. The only effective means they have of affecting us is a biological agent----Anthrax, like the modified nanoprobes.
