I, too, think he was guilty. At least of some of it. There's liking to spend time with children, then there's Michael Jackson...

yea i mean their are the witnesses that testifed, i mean how could they not vote guilty? unless he bought the jury off

Because the jury believed that the witnesses were lying? But of course everyone tells the truth and so obviously they were right. It doesn't mean that it's true (not saying it's not) but the jury believed that there was too much evidence that it was to try and get money off him. As for being paid off, it would be obvious people would assume this would happen, so there would have been a lot of things checking up. I don't think he has much money though, doesn't he have big debts?

Nah, they could have believed the witnesses, but there has to be proof.

Yes, agreed there. There was too much reasonable doubt. Now, I think that SOMETHING happened, and that the witnesses were telling the truth--most of them, anyway, to some extent--but that there was too little evidence that left too much reasonable doubt. In this system, you can't convict someone with so much reasonable doubt.

so what i mean if their is a camera and 100 people see me rob a bank and they all testify, that means that their is too much evidance?

There's a difference there. And look--I think that he may very well be guilty. But in this case, where it's really JUST Jackson and the boy and NOT 100 people seeing an incident, it's different

I think that MJ was innocent and that the system worked, the prosecution's whitenessess were obviously just in it for the money. Most of the stories they had didn't even match up.
Michael Jackson does have some problems becuase he is very nieve he is 'Peter Pan', He himself claimed (During the Martin Bashir documentary) he said "I never had a child hood" and also one little part sticks out in my mind and that is -

MJ " I am Peter Pan"
MB "No your not your Michael Jackson"
MJ "No I am Peter Pan in my heart"

Clearly MJ does feel like a child and he admits it, When he admitted to sharing a bed with a child I don't see whats wrong with that, I slept in my aunts bed on time a years ago does that make her a child molestor ? No it was innocent (And coisidently becuase I was scared of the dark).
My point is what is so wrong with sharing a bed with someone ? it is after all only a place you sleep ?

Whether you agree with me or not is your right and opinion as an individual but I say 'CONGRADULATIONS MICHAEL JACKSON'

Sleeping in bed with a relative is ok. Not with a stranger. Jackson should not be in bed with many young boys. Its innappropriate.

It is VERY innapropriate. And didn't he have those books with pictures of naked boys in his house?
Whether he was guilty on these counts or not, I think he's a very strange and somewhat disturbed man. A very odd person... I certainly wouldn't let anyone I was the legal guardian of go anywhere near him.
Some of his fans are freakier than him (which is saying something, because I think he's a total freak), like all those who have huge tattoos of him and have pictures of him instead of their own family and stuff like that. I don't mind people with tattoos of artists (Hendrix tats are SO cool!), but some of those people really need to stop worshipping such a weird guy.
What is up with his face?!

Yes, VERY innappropriate. With a relative it's fine. But another? No. He DID bring this upon himself, let's keep in mind, with him doing this after two past allegations of misconduct.

Yeah I agree but you can't tell some people that cause they seem to think that man is innocent. Which just gross.

Yes, This is his own doing. I think that it would've been ok if say there were other people in the room with him, like the boys parents. On that topic where were his parents anyways?

Leo , How is it gross to think a person is innocent of a crime ?
Although it was dumb of him to share a bed with a child I honestly don't see what is wrong with it,
mad_d0ggie his parents were ok with it until they stopped getting hand outs from MJ,
After all he Arvizo family were going to settle o ut of court with MJ until the law changed and they had to take him to court,
Would a mother be willing to take money from a man who molested a child ?
Hell no,
And lets not forget the Defence lawyers did some digging and found out the Arvizos were trying to learn how to make false phone calls that they made and trick people into thinking MJ did it,
If he was guilty why make a false phone call and make it sound like MJ ?

If any parents let their kids stay with him overnight, the parents should be declared legally incompetent and the kids should be taken into protective custody.

I think webtaz99 that is the dumbest thing I have ever and I mean ever heard, A man who has opened his home and his wallet (please make jokes about what else he supposedly 'opened') and his heart to thousands of people who would have had a very bad life.
He has donated millions and he released a song for charity that earned them a heck of alot of money.

{desparately tried to credit this to the proper movie, but I can't remember}

"I'm sure Typhoid Mary was a fun person, if you met her socially."

Saddam Husein did lots of nice things for charity, too.

Oh please, If I think he's innocent and not because hes rich.
If I believed everyone who was or is rich is innocent I would believe Adolf Hitler was innocent of Leading the Nazis party when he died a rich man.
I would believe Sudam is a really nice man who never tortured people because as we all know he was rich.
I dislike the fact that someone can believe that a person whoever they are can think in such a nieve way
