BTW is has nothing to do with the OZONE layer. Its global warming. there 2 seperate things caused by two sperate things

Not what the LIBERAL school system has taught me They have EVERYTHING to go together. And just because there's an increase in CO2 doesn't mean much.

The hole in the ozone layer will not increase temperatures at all. All it does it let though harmful radiation from the sun. So how is it global warming?

And this increased CO2 like no other cycle will cause the earth to be much much hotter than any of those cycles

The ozone layer is harmed by various chemicals, mainly chlorine. This layer varies in thickness. The "holes" are the lowest concentrations, but nearly everywhere on Earth the ozone layer has been thinned.

This lets through a higher proportion of ultraviolet (and other) radiation. This effects the amount of heat absorbed by the surface, which DOES effect the total heat gain/loss ratio.

CO2 helps to pad the Ozone layer.

Global Warming due to CO2 is unrelated to the hole in the Ozone layer cuase chiefly by CFC like in styrofoam and industrial aerosols.

That's what I mentioned earlier over the page. And we do need CO2 in the atmosphere, otherwise we'd have a big problem since the world would freeze up otherwise as almost no heat would be retained. But using logic, there is more CO2, which stops heat escaping the atmosphere, what result will that have? You also have to remember the whole of the planets weather depends on heat belts and the earth trying to equalise itself.

If you are going to argue global warming, please learn more science.

CO2 causes IR radition from the surface of Earth to remain instead of going to "outer space". If more UV is let in by a thinning of the ozone layer, more IR will be generated. This is one of the links between ozone and global warming.

True, but CO2 has NO direct corellation to the hole in the OZone, maybe you should learn to read before criticizing someone.

CO2 has nothing to do with the OZONE layer at all. the OZONE layer is made of OZONE or 03

My post outlines at least one correlation between the ozone layer and CO2. I am not saying CO2 effects ozone or vice versa, but they work together to alter the Earth's gain/loss heat ratio.

People are arguing different points. Some are saying the Ozone is not affected by Co2, which is true, but they are not saying it's not related to the heat retainal system.
