Just because someone's IP matches up with someone else's, doesn't mean that they are the same person. Do you know how many thousands of people use aol.com or home.com proxy dialup ISPs?

I personally don't think they are the same person, and even if they were, what's the point of annoying them about it? You can't know for sure, and looking at the IP of the post is not adequate proof of anything.

Thats not what morphy says

Siddig El Fadil was born Siddig El Tahir El Fadil El Siddig El Abderahman El Mohammed Ahmed El Abdel Karim El Mahdi. That is such a long and kool name.

TCP/IP is probably an outdated protocol in the 24th century (it doesn't take account for locations outside of Terra, for instance)

But, here in the 21st century, multiple workstations on a private LAN can share a single IP gateway address that would appear the same to all computers and servers outside the LAN.

I'm not a networking engineer, but the only other way I could think of to uniquely identify a workstation is through information reported by their web browser.

Just FYI, an IP Address is a series of four numbers, separated by periods. The numbers can identify what network, machine, and ISP (internet service provider) you use, as well as some other info.

I don't pretend to understand completely, but all that's important is that it can be used as an identifying marker for a particular network, or in some cases for a particular computer.
