Two of my friends from high school (old friends, they were seniors when I was a sophomore) are currently setting the new world record for longest distance crawled. They've been at the football field of our HS since 6 o'clock am on Thursday morning and I just drove by (2 o'clock am Saturday) and they're still out there. The world record is 31 miles without stoping and they're going 33. They're also doing it to raise money for the pediatric AIDS society.
We went by tonight to see them and one of the guys, Leo, said that he was starting to hallucinate and stuff, just because of crawling so long and not sleeping... anyway. I think it's way cool. I hope they're able to beat it.

That's Awesome! I probably couldn't crawl for 10 minutes.

I'm assuming that they eat and stuff while crawling? That's pretty cool . . . do they listen to music or anything, talk?
I've always wanted to complete a world record but I'm too lazy. ^_^

Me too. That'd be cool if they made it.

My friend's grandad going to be in the Guinnes book of world records because he spent a very long time on a bicycle. When he got a puncture, he had to jump across to another bike!
Hope they make it.

Oh... by the way. Sorry for the late update. Leo and Sean did beat the current continuous crawl record, they crawled 31.7 miles. Though they didn't reach their goal of 33 miles... all that matters is that they made the new record. It was probably best that they stopped anyway. I stopped by at mile 28 and they already looked horrible. I guess they were both getting really sick, so they finally just called the last 1.3 miles off.

Tell them that all the nerdy people from across the world to whom you talk each day over the Internet congratulate them.
