The best thing about this site is that you feel that the people here actually care about you and how your day went etc. If you aren't on for a few days, when you return there's like a million posts of "Where's _____? Did she get a life?"
It's brilliant.
Nowhere else am I able to connect with people older than me. I mean, if you'd told me a year or so ago that I'd be talking with people like RM or Debs or Dave then I'd have told you you were mad. Me, hanging out with Republican Americans? But when I'm here it feels like nothing else matters except for the fact that I'm having a conversation and I'm having fun. What does it matter if the person on the other side preaches abstinence or is in a wheelchair or is a single mum on benefits? It doesn't matter at all because they are all great people to talk to and that is what matters. No stereotypes, just loads of different, caring people with a whole of love to share out.
I feel happy and safe here, which is more than I can say for other forums. The mods here are fantastic and keep us safe from trollers and spammers alike. Everyone abides by the rules but still gets their views across.
Even when I'm told to shut up by someone it doesn't matter because there are lots of other people to talk to. These people are good friends.

For me STV Community means that all of us can connect with other people of the world. And they like what you like. You can have lots of friends. For me I think I got more friends on here than in real life.
