The XFL was a football league which was owned and run by World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. and NBC. WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was the brains behind it. It was hardcore football with a lot more emphasis on entertainment. If you know anything about the type of wrestling Vince McMahon is responsible for, you can probably guess what type of football league he ran.
The XFL failed as many predicted. Vince McMahon is a BRILLIANT wrestling promoter but all his non-wrestling ventures have failed (although I hope WWE films succeeds).

Lol, I can see it now.
But yes, I can see how it would fail. Vince should stay with wrestling.

He should.
He tried to promote a boxing match in 1988. That was his one and only boxing venture.
He tried to promote a bodybuilding federation in 1991, the WBF (World Bodybuilding Federation). That failed because neither bodybuilding or wrestling fans were interested.
He ventured into the realm of nutritional supplements with IcoPro. That failed too.
And, of course the XFL failed.
Like I said, he's a good promoter. But a good wrestling promoter isn't necessarily a good promoter at anything else. I respect him for trying, though.

Yeah, I do too. The only thing I don't like about him is how he always changes.
He is a good guy, bad guy.. good guy..... bad guy... now he is good again? Sheesh... I can't keep up with it!
I'm glad he took a little break from wwe though. It was getting boring...

Yes, he was actually healing from an injury suffered at the 2005 Royal Rumble. I do like him but his constant turns are bizarre.

Yes, he suffered a quad injury at the Royal Rumble. He's recovered quite quickly.
